Swainsonine is a new anti-tumor drug. It have biphasic effects both as anti-tumor and immunoregulation. The purpose of the test to constructing Marek's disease pathologic model is to establish the foundation for the future study, and supply a new way for the research of anti-tumor drug. As the point of hematology, sero-enzyme and pathology, the effect of SW to Marek's disease would have researched in the test, and anti-tumor, immunoregulation and the safe of SW to cock would have probed, as to obtain the test data about SW to Marek's disease, that establish the foundation for the anti-tumor treat of SW deeply. The results as follow:1 Cocks were infected artificially by Marek's disease GA strain. MDV deterring of Group E, group F and group G were masculine at 35 DPI, group C(C3), group D(D1,D2,D6)were masculine partly, that show the MD pathologic model was constructed successfully in the test, and prove the advance effect of SW to cocks on resisting MDV at the point of immunology, so as to confirm the immunoregulation of SW.2 Analysis of hematology show, the lymphocyte number of group B was higher to that of group A, group D, group F and group G(p<0.05)at 14 DPI. The total white blood cells of groups upgraded from 14DPI to 34 DPI, the number of white blood cell, acidophil leukocyte and histoleucocyte of group G, E and F were down totally from 44 DPI to 84 DPI, and those of group G was lowest, group E and F were higher to group G, and those of other groups kept normal level. The result indicate, SW can keep the normal level of white blood cell, and show the effect of immunoregulation of SW.3 Analysis of sero-enzyme show, The AKP level of group A, B,C and D keep normal level, The AKP level of group E, F and G were higher to that of other groups at 14 DPI~74 DPI. It decreased gradually, and were lower to that of other groups at 84 DPI. The AKP level of group G was higher to that of group E and F at 44 DPI~64 DP(Ip<0.05). The LDH level of group A and B kept normal, and that of preventing group, healing group and tumor control group decreased gradually. The LDH level of group A and B were higher to that of other groups at 84 DPI(p<0.05), the LDH level of group G was higher to that of group C and D(p<0.05), the LDH level of group D was higher to that of group F(p<0.05). The results confirmed, SW can maintain the level of AKP and LDH, and has well protection for cocks to MDV. 4 Clinical observation and pathologic assaying were done in the test. Cocks injected MDV began to die at 70 DPI. The death rate of group E, F and G were 50%, 33.3%, 100% respectively. Dissecting and observing, pathological changes of group G were more serious than group E and F, and no pathological changes in other groups. The detecting of pathologic histology showed, cock of group G had infiltration of lymphocyte, and severe degeneration and necrosis in part of organs. Organs of healing group were infiltrated by lymphocyte partly. However, there were not abnormality in group A, B, C and D. The result was coincident to pathological changes by eye, and showed that there has a inhibitory action of SW to the formation of MD tumor, and showed more effect during the preventing period.The results indicated that SW can keep level of white blood cell, AKP and LDH, and has well effect of immunoregulation. SW showed active suppression to the form of MD tumor, and it's effect of anti-tumor was obvious.
