In-stream woody is an important ligament between forest ecosystem and stream ecosystem, and plays a key role in the process of construction of stream morphology and instream habitats. In-stream LWD is mostly originated from riparian area, the features of riparian vegetation effect on the quantity of in-stream LWD. The study may offer gist for resuming and managing the degenerative riparian area and stream ecosystem, which is different vegetation types riparian area In-stream woody. The number and volume of in-stream LWD and riparian forest stand features were surveyed at 3 streams in Liangshui Nature Reserve and Maoershan Forest Farm under different forest covers, respectively.The standing tree volume, stand stocking of riparian forest stand, number, average volume and total stock of in-stream LWD at streams in Liangshui were greater than that of Maoershan.When stream flux is low, average value of reach large woody debris in Liangshui was more than 3 that of Maoershan, stand stocking of in-stream LWD was about 4 doubles than that of Maoershan; the difference of stand stocking of in-stream LWD was more lager along with stream flux. The average number of in-stream LWD in Liangshui was more 6 than that of Maoershan,that stand stocking of in-stream LWD was above 4 doubles than that of Maoershan.Riparian area forest makes up of old-age secondary forest, it was gently disturbed by human and its stabilization was well, the LWD fallen into streams most throw natural processes in Liangshui. Stocking of in-stream LWD increase with forest stocking.Riparian area forest makes up of secondary forest, it effected of human disturbance frequently, the LWD fallen into streams most throw tree cutting, correlation between stocking of in-stream LWD and forest stocking of riparian area was unconspicuous.The average temperature volume and turbidity of Pool and stream was close in two area, but the average oxygen dissolve volume of Pool lower than that of stream. The number of Pool reduced when stream flux adding, the number of Pool shaped with large woody debris and this large woody debris adding with stream flux. Volume of large woody debris and intension of human disturbance effected change trend about survey results at different reach. Stability of in-stream LWD in Liangshui was well than that that in Maoershan. Volume and length of large woody debris effected Stability of in-stream LWD. The result show that, the average volume value of large woody debris from move action was 10 doubles than that doesn't move action, the average length value of large woody debris about move action was 2 doubles than that doesn't move action; Human disturbance of stream in Maoershan was more than that in Liangshui.Human disturbance of old-age secondary forest was small, Stocking, function and stability of in-stream LWD in Liangshui was well than that in Maoershan.
