| With the development of remote sensing technology, the human will observe open upuniverse from the outer space. Planning and management of forest require information aboutforest resources. Some of the most important information is the forest crown closure and LAI.Both of them are an important parameter in ecological, hydrological and climate models. In thepaper, it was mainly studied the possibility and adaptability of application of spectrometer datain forest crown closure. For the characteristics of Hyperion hyper-spectral remote sensing data,at first the Hyperion image was pretreated, to provide further analytical and actual applicationimage. For the research, the imagine data was proceeded to the liner mixture analysis, to getthe woodland weight, lowering the influence of mixed pixel. Then according to canopy closure,it was extracted the band scopes in 450~900cm and 1550~1750cm as data source, andcalculated to these bands. Including the woodland weight, 11 were selected from RS and GISdata as the independent variable of the equation. And with regression technique, the modelswere established, and got the exact results.Remote Sensing techniques, particularly the use of satellite imagery, may provide apractical means to measure forest parameters at the landscape scale or even global scale. Withremote sensing techniques, scientists have made use of methods that correlate remotely senseddata with regional estimates of a number of forest ecosystem variables, including forest crownclosure, canopy temperature, etc. |
