In order to study the effect of B. bassiana in the larvae of Apriona germari. theeffect of B.bassiana on food consumption, weigh gain, efficiencies of conversion ingestedfood,and respiratory rhythm changes in the larvae of Apriona germari was studied. and thecontent of protein, the contents of all kinds of free amino acids in haemolym,carboxvlesterase, glutathione-S-transferase, acetylcholinesterase, Superoxide dismutase,peroxidase, catalase after B. bassiana infected are tested. the defense mechanism ofhemolymph in the larvae of Apriona germari to B. bassiana are also tested. the resultshowed that:1. The food consumption, weigh gain and efficiencies of conversion ingested food inthe larvae of Apriona germari are all decreased along as infected day increased, the patternof respiratory rhythm of Apriona germari belonged to variable-amplitude oscillatedtype; the tendense of respiratory have a obviously increased when infected three days, theline of respiratory rhythm also have a large change.2. B. bassiana has significant influense on the activity ofcarboxylesterase, glutathione-S-transferase and acetylcholinesterase in the larvae ofApriona germari. The effects of B. bassiana on the activity of carboxylesterase andglutathione-S-transferase are similar. The activity of those are all stimulate at first and thenforbidden. but the activity on the acetylcholinesterase is low at first and then stimulate andthen low again and stimulate and low at end.3. The result of isozymes analogy through biochemical method andelectrophoretogram are similar. The effects of B. bassiana on the activity of Superoxidedismutase, peroxidase and catalase are similar. The activity of those are all increased atfirst and then decreased, the activity of Superoxide dismutase and peroxidase get maxafter infected two days,but catalase get max after infected four days.4. The content of protein increased gradually at first after infected, and after infected four days, the content of protein decreased.the electrophoretogram of protein have somenew line after B.bassiana infected.5. the contents of all kinds of free amino acids in haemolym of the Apriona germarilarvae have regularly change. The contents decreased gradually at first after infected,andincreased at end.and the change of seventeen kinds of free amino acids in haemolym arevariable, some kinds of amino acids increased,others decreased or have no changes.6. The kind and number of the hemocytes in the normal Apriona germari larvae arestabilization. B.bassiana has significant influense on the kind and number of thehemocytes in the normal Apriona germari larvae.compare to the normal Apriona germarilarvae, the total number of hemocytes after infected within one days have not significantchanges, after infected one days ,the total number of the hemocytes increasedgradually, and get max at infected half and two days.after infected half and two days,thetotal number begin decreased and gradually get the lowest, the Plasmatocyte countes andGranulocyte countes of the hemocytes in the infected Apriona germari larvae are also havesimilar regulations. |
