Variety improvement is an important method to achieve high yield, fine quality and efficiency, in some degree, it depend on heredity base. Twenty-five Suinong soybean cultivars were invented by SuiHua institute of Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and were used in this experiment, to make genealogy analysis and main characters comparasion study. The aim was to study genetic basis and consanguinity relationship on Suinong series variety, which invented in different period, study change tendency of main characters in order to supply theoretical basis for breeding.The results were as follows:1 Built twenty-five Suinong soybean cultivars genealogy tree; the analysis shown 16 soybean varieties(64% of all Suinong series soybean varieties) was developed from "Mancangjin". Karyon descent from 40 ancestral parents, the contribution value is 24.71, cytoplasm descent from 7 ancestral parents, the contribution rate is 88%. Karyon genetic basis is diversity, cytoplasm genetic basis is narrow.2 There was 1.6% direct parents of Suinong soybean cultivars descent from native varieties, 47.5% descent from North-east native varieties, 37.7% descent from North-east native lines, 13.1% desce twenty-five major parents, 12 Suinong soybean cultivars descent from Suinong No4 directly or indirectly, 48% of Suinong series soybean varieties invented by three-cross.3 Change tendency of main characters in different period, Suinong soybean cultivars invented mainly in 70's, 80's, 90's and 21 century. Study comparasion of 13 main character on Suinong soybean cultivars, which invented in different period. The result shown that the yield increased from 70's to 21 century; development days delay 5-6 days; seeds weight of single plant increased; another character of yield undulated, but increased in total; quality have improved.4,Analyzed on correlation, seeds weight of single plant, nods on main stem, pods of single plant and seeds number of single plant shown significant positive correlation with yield, protein content shown non-significant positive correlation with yield, oil content shown non-significant positive correlation with yield.
