Applying data EOS/MODIS, Apparent Thermal Inertia Model Monitoring SoilMoisture (ATIMMSM), Multidimensional Characteristic Space Model MonitoringSoil Moisture(MCSMMSM) were dissertated in detail, and process handlingdata for situation about spring drought occurring in Qinghai province wasdicussed.ATIMMSM is a mature method of monitoring model for soil moisture byremote sensing technology, which usually appears by utilizing NOAA/AVHRRdata. In this dissertation, utilizing MODIS data, from the PDS format of MODISdata to that of reflectance/bright temperature, distinguishing clouds frombackground, calibrating,radiation rectifying, geometry rectifying technology wasdiscussed. Applying theory of monitoring soil moisture with ATI and materials ofTERRA satellite in day and night twice, ATIMMSM of Qinghai province was built.In the light of shortage that it can only monitor soil moisture of bare land,emending method was given by NDVI,which made the model apply in conditionthat herbage regreen in low altitude area in Qinghai province, which fit on the factthat drop in elevation is large and time of regreening is different in west and east andwhich widen the scale of model applying.MCSMMSM followed idea K-L change in distinguishing kinds of groundutilizing Remote Sensing technology. Using MODIS data of 7,21,29,31 fourinfrared bands, fusing 2 band with 250m resolution, monitoring model for soilmoisture was built,resolution of which was better than ATI model. Its applying timewas shorter, precision of model need to be tested. The model overcome the shortagethat ATI model need several times data and give consideration to weather conditionof Qinghai plateau. ATIMMSM and MCSMMSM replenish each other in time demand andmonitoring precision, and they can. be applied as monitoring model for springdrought of Qinghai province. After building the model, relation between soilmoisture of 10cm and that of below soil was analyzed, and simple regress model wasgiven that. At last in the dissertation, existing problem in the model and respectsneed studying deeply in the future was given. |
