There are 788 species of seed plants that belong to 113 families and 382 genera. Temperate coniferous forest and Deciduous broad-leaved forest are important types in Liupanshan Mountain. Finally, it is believed that in the ecological construction of the upper reaches of Liupanshan, we should use the flora' s characters to protect the existing species and make use of the valuable species resources and genetic resources.The distribution pattern of vegetation reflects the comprehensive influence of environments. The results of DCA clearly reflect the relatiohship between the pattern of forest communities and environmental gradients.The ordination result of DCA indicates that altitude is more important than other environmental factors because the change of altitude gradient will lead to the varieties of temperature gradients and humidity gradients. The first of the DCA ordination axes indicates the temperature gradients ,and the second of that indicates the humidity gradients. All these results show that the main factors restricting distribution of the communities are temperature and humidity in this reserve. At the same time, the ordination of species and the ordination of quadrats were compared. It was shown that the ordination plot of the dominant species in plant community was similar to that of the plant community type. To some extent ,the distribution of the former determined that of the latter.Based on the grey relational analysis method, the relationship between environmental factors and community diversity were analyzed. Whether in the shrub layer or in the herb layer,among the many environmental factors, the soil water always plays the most important role in the forming of community distribution pattern or species abundance variation in the communities. The soil nutrient factors affecting the community diversity could be lined as total nitrogen> total phosphate > available phosphate > organic matter.The arrangement of comprehensive evaluation of soil fertility indicated collectively that the soil fertility of Pinus armandii forest was the best, Larix principis-rupprechtii +Quercus liaotungensis Koidz .forest ,Quercus liaotungensis Koidz. +Tilia pauoicostata forest and Larix principis-rupprechtii +Pinus tabulaeformis Carr.+ Picea asperata forest were in the middle, Larix principis-rupprechtii forest and Pinus tabulaeformis Carr .forest was worse, especially Larix principis-rupprechtii +Pinus tabulaeformis Carr. forest was the worst.The species diversity was decreased in order of herb layer, shrub layer and tree layer in all communities. The result was the same as in the Loess Plateau.The analysis ofβdiversity index indicated that large differences between the artificial Larix principis-rupprechtii +Quercus liaotungensis Koidz. forest and other forest communities. It also showed that the species composition in Larix principis-rupprechtii forest were similarity with other forest communities..
