Pine nematode(Bursaphelenchus xylophilus)has serious harm to the forest resource and the ecological environment in our country.Zhejiang province, which take pine as coast-protection forest mainly, has suffered a lot since the invading of pine nematode in recent years.Hereby, the prevention of pine nematode is of great significance to the forestry production. In this paper, Zhoushan in Zhejiang province was set as study area and Chinese red pine (Pinus massoniana Lamb. )and HeySong(P. thunbergii Par1) are selected as study object.Three Landsat TM images in 1991,1995 and 2006 were applied as the main information sources and the land investigation and spectral data were used as auxiliary data. The vegetation types were abstracted by using an expert classifier which based on the expert knowledge on main vegetation types according to their spectral Characteristics. Also Fuzzy classifier model was applied to produce the map of forest types. On the basis of the pine information abstraction, the Fignge of forest structure resulted from the invasion of pine nematode was analysed in the view of community pattern features. This paper also used Quantity Ecology and Landscape Ecology methods which integrated with remote sensing technology to monitor the dynamic Fignges of special pattern after the invading of pine nematode. Then, the stability of space pattern in forest impacted by pine nematode was analysed.
