| In this experiment .three kinds of turfgrasses (Kentucky Bluegrass,Tall Fescue and Creeping Bentgrass ) were cultivated on reclaimed water surface on the floating beds without fertilization and irrigation conditions. The purpose is to design one kind of the floating beds installment, which suits the turfgrass, and takes it as the carrier that can plant cold season turfgrass on reclaimed water surface, whith can form the good aquatic landscape without conventional management measure such as fertilization and irrigation conditions. As turf grass is one type of perennial grass with well-developed root system, and strong adaptability, it may have the potential advantages to purify the water which has been eutrophicated. Therefore, in this paper, two excellent turf grass species: Tall fescue and Bentgrass were studied, which were planted on the surface of renewable water as a floating bed plants to purify the water which has been eutrophicated. Their effects were researched and recorded precisely.This experiment is divided two parts to carry on : one is the floating bed planting experiment,the other is the experiment of purification of water body.(1)Results of floating bed planting experiment showed that: three kinds of turf grass could grow well with foam plate as a vector floating, capped cloth as a matrix in the surface of reclaimed water. The function of the floating board and capped cloth could create an environment that was abundant in oxygen, cultivate turf grass's air-roots, thus successfully resolve the problems such as lacking of oxygen for the root and create a stable rhizosphere, also promote the root function under the condition of soilless cultivation, thus accelerating the speed of the forming turf.Among them, for floating bed cultivation, tall fescue's chlorophyll content, leaves water content, dry weight, density, cover rate, and other indicators were significantly higher than those in soil culture conditions; and It had been researched that there was no significant difference between the membrane permeability of three kinds of turf grass under different modes of cultivation; Kentucky bluegrass and Bentgrass had not changed significantly compared with those under soil culture conditions except the indicators such as leaves water content, density and coverage that are significantly higher than the latter; The significant difference of coverage among three kinds of floating bed cultivation turfgrass,which has shown that Bentgrass and tall fescue were much more suitable to the floating bed cultivation than Kentucky bluegrass.The experiment indicated that the turfgrass as one kind of ornamental plant, is feasibly cultivated on the water surface. Not only protect the environment and beautified landscape goal,but also use the resources fully,alleviation land resources and water resources scarce contradiction, increase economic gain.(2)The experiment result of the water body purification showed that: Tall Fescue and Creeping Bentgrass has obvious purification effect for N,P,CODcr and so on in the eutrophication .Especially purification ability of TP is strongest,it can improve the eutrophication water quality effectively ;Between the two kind of lawn grasses, The elimination effect for TN, NH4+ -N, NO3- -N, CODcr aren't obvious difference,but for the TP elimination effect ,Creeping Bentgrass is obviously higher than Tall Fescue.Besides,the dense root system of the turfgrass will quickly pierce through the lather and grow underwater. According to that the situation of the botany root system and the ability of to attach others is positively relatve,it shows that turfgrass has good ability to attach suspensions in the water.The result of this research showed that The technology of cultivating turfgrass by floating-beds is an new effective way to repairing the eutrophicated waters possibly. |
