The loess plateau is a special geographic area in China. The town is fastened on ravine or desertization area in this area. Although the environment and climate is bad, there is also an abundance of plant resource. With the development of economic, the human being has a more demand for the life environment and the investment of project is increased in the town virescence year after year. The loess plateau is the subject investigated in this article. We use the method of field spot check and modal survey in this article. This article has illuminated the actuality of loess plateau wildness ornamental resource exploitation and using and the application in town virescence. There are the following results.The plant resource is very abundance in loess plateau Shaanxi province. There are 53 families, 105 genus, 176 species. There are 3 families, 4genus, 6species that is belonged to the gymnosperm. There are 50 families, 101 genus, 170species that is belonged to angiosperm. The loess plateau wildness ornamental resource can be used roadside trees, shade tree, specimen tree, hedge tree, and ground cover tree in the landscaping.Exploitation and using wildness ornamental resource that should be adjust measures to local conditions are one of the town virescence efficient path in this area. Wildness ornamental should be extensive use in town landscaping and take the measure of arbor, shrub and grass combined. Rational exploitation and using wildness ornamental resource be beneficial to vegetation renew and protection.The small town greenbelt area in the loess plateau of Shaanxi province, the singleness species of trees, and the shortage application of native tree species is the main problem in the town virescence.Although the ecological environment of the loess plateau is worse, the climate is drought and shortage rain, the town virescence has a wider foreground. As long as we choose the adopted virescence tree species, have an virescence tree species ordonnance in reason, unearth and use the native tree species sufficiently and combine the soil, fertilizer and water management measure, the town virescence level should have a great improvement in the loess plateau.
