With the animal husbandry developing rapidly in china, the antibiotics play more and more important role in the respect of prevention against bacteria infection and treatment of domestic animal diseases. Especially, the developing of β-lactam antibiotics is a revolution in bacterial infection diseases. The antibiotics have been powerful weapon to cure clinical bacterial infection. However, the abuse of antibiotics can not only lead to serious drug resistance of some pathogenic bacterium but also can have bad impact on public hygiene such as drug remnant etc. Therefore, the researches and applications of health-friendly new type antimicrobials which will take place of traditional antibiotic additives have already become vital task for veterinary practitioners.Therefor, "No Poison, No Remnant, No Drug Resistance" is the request of a new generation of antibacterial preparation. Developing and applying that new type of antibiotics to replace classical antibiotics in feed additive and diseases prevention of herds and fowls has becomes an important content in current Feed Science and Iatrology. On one side, scientists rebuild the structure of classical antibiotics to debase the bacterial resistance; on the other side do research to develop new type of antibiotics. Recent years, Antibacterial peptides (ABP) is a kind of new type of antibiotics with tremendous marketing developing potential. With the resent researches, the ABP is a broad-spectrum antibiotic and can inhibit and kill resistant bacteria strain. Consequently, it is the most promising substitute for traditional antibiotics. The Antibacterial peptides (ABP) include a series of small peptides with positive ions most of which have a broad-spectrum antibiotic and they are significant ingredients during the course of congenital immunity in most creatures. So far, more than 1000 kinds of ABP have been found in many creatures which include insects, birds, mammals, plants and even in prokaryotes. There are three sources for ABP: isolating form natural resources, manual synthesis and expressing through gene engineering techniques.
