As a kind of typical embedded equipment, PDA has been used in China's forest resource data acquisition. Both of them will ruin the integrality of the program and cause a lot of time, money and human resources waste.The article takes the universal demand in data collection of forest resource inventory as a starting point, unifying the example of Beijing forest resources information management system, taking SOA and COM as the instruction, taking GIS, GPS, form-mode and ontology as the support, taking the embedded program development as the method, designing and developing the function modules in data collection system on PDA. The article brings forward the way to construct a set of component by abstracting the requirements and the personal interface. By effectively managing those components, we can avoid redeveloping the software, enhance the programming efficiency and solve the problem of system expansion. The way that the article mentioned can realize multi-thematic data collection of forest resource inventory and contribute the work of forest resources investigation.
