Three experiments have been carried out to study on effects and reproductive characteristics of crossbred of Bore goat crossing with Yunling local-black goat. Experiment 1:120 heads of Wenshan female Black goat,120heads of Shizong female black goat and 120heads of Chuxiong female black goat were used for the experiment. Half of them were used as control and other half were used for cross breeding.For the cross breeding-goat,three types of black goat were crossed with Bore goat, respectively.The lambing rate,body weight and body size of birth,3,6,9months old were tested,respectively.Experiment 2:60heads of crossbred(F1)and 60heads of Yunling male black goat which be castrated were used for fattening experiment.The goats were divided into 2 groups,one group was grazed on the pasture as control and another one group was not only grazed on the pasture,but supplied other feedstuff as well.Experiment 3:6heads of fattening goat and 6 heads of control goat were selected at random to be slaughtered for slaughter measurement and meat quality test in summer or fall(grass grow well in this time)and in spring or winter(grass is lack in this season),respectively.The results show that:1.The lambing rate,twin rate and surviving rate of the crossbred of Wenshan black goat(WW)crossed with Bore(WB)were increased 11,7.5 and 4.1%comparing with Wenshan black goat,respectively.For the progeny of Shizong black goat(SS)crossed with Bore goat(SB),there were increased 29,7.7 and 4.1%,respectively and 6.4,4.4 and 7.4%for crossbred of Chuxiong black goat(CC)crossed with Bore(CB), respectively.2.The birth weight of male F1(SB),F1(WB)and F1(CB)were increased 25%,12.5%and 14.28%comparing with male of SS,WW and CC,respectively.there were-increased 15.8%,15.0%and15.79%-for female comparing with male of SS,WW and CC,respectively.Live weight of 9 months old male crossbred were increased 19.69%,35.26%and 28.94%comparing with male of SS,WW and CC,respectively.There were increased 25%,54.1%and 31.67%for female.3.The fattening results show that the average daily gain(ADG)of crossbred(F1) with supplementary was increased 85.2%comparing with crossbred without supplementary,and 32.4%higher than local goat with supplementary in rain season. Every 1kg of live weight gained consumed 3.17kg feedstuff.The ADG of crossbred with supplementary was 101g higher than crossbred without supplementary,which was increased 38.8%comparing to local goat with supplementary.Live weight increasing 1kg consumed 1.98kg feedstuff in dry season.4.The eye muscle area and hot carcass and net meat of crossbred were increased 31.17%,31.44%and 41.77%than that of local goat,respectively.It was no differences between two groups in pH,processed meat rate,muscle fibre diameter etc by meat test and analysis.
