| This article could be divided into two parts; one part first reports the efficacy of the bivalent vaccine against Vibrio anguillarum and V.alginolyticus. The other part reports the effect of four drugs on the immune response of turbot. Oxytetracycline, florfenicol, levamisole and Sulfamonomethoxine were tested for possible immunomodulatory effects.We prepared Vibrio anguillarum vaccine,V.alginolyticus vaccine and a bivalent vaccine against these two pathogens from 0.3% formalin-killed cells. Turbot(Scophtalmus maximus)were immuned with the vaccines by single i.p. injection. The efficacy of vaccines was evaluated by the measurement of alternative complement activity, lysozyme, antibody titre of the serum and the respective challenge of two bacteria. The results indicated that three vaccines enhanced the tested immune parameters and the effects of bivalent vaccine were lower than two monovalent vaccines in the later experiment. The bivalent vaccine induced protection rate of 83.52%,83.24% against Vibrio anguillarum and V.alginolyticus respectively. The protection rate of Vibrio anguillarum vaccine against Vibrio anguillarum, V. alginolyticus vaccine against V.alginolyticus were 80.37%, 74.89%. There was the probility to design a bivalent vaccine.The aim of the second part was to follow the immune response after vaccination with drug treatment in advance. We prepared Vibrio anguillarum vaccine from 0.3% formalin-killed cells without any adjuvant. Turbots(Scophtalmus maximus)weighing an average of 31.2±1.9g, were divided to 6 groups of 40, four drug administered groups, a vaccine group and a control. In the experiment the drug was administered by oral intubation continued for a week. Three antibacterial were administered with therapeutic dose and florfenicol was at 10mg kg-1 body weight day-1.
