Severe soil erosion and soil leanness are the major features of the Loess Plateau. Fragile ecology environment and bad natural condition lead to laggard farming forest and herd productive level. Prunus armeniaca var.ansu is a pioneer tree with ecological and economical benefits, which have better adversity resistance and wide adaptability. The study on the growth and water physiological of prunus armeniaca var.ansu in Loess Plateau, aim to clarify the growth and physiological affections on Prunus armeniaca var.ansu of different site conditions, and to realize the suitable site condition and physiological rule of Prunus armeniaca var.ansu which may guide the vegetation construction, water and soil conservation and improvement of earning in Loess Plateau. The material used in this experiment was the widely distributed Prunus armeniaca var.ansu. The growth and water physiology of prunus armeniaca var.ansu in different site conditions are studied. The study was composed of indoors and outdoors experiments. Indoors experiments include soil physical and chemical qualities measurement and SEM observation on leaf epidermis of Prunus armeniaca var.ansu. Outdoors experiments mainly studied the growth Pr Pn soil moisture and physiological guideline ,such as SWC, WSD of Prunus armeniaca var.ansu. The soil moisture and its varity were observed in different site conditions. At last, the output and growth of Prunus armeniaca var.ansu were investigated and analyzed. The mainly conclusions on this study are below:1. SEM observation on leaf epidermis of Prunus armeniaca var.ansu and Prunus armeniaca indicated: epidermis cell size and stoma size of Prunus armeniaca var.ansu are less than Prunus armeniaca, under and below epidermis cell of Prunus armeniaca var.ansu both have feathers, and there are also lots of veins under the cell walls, these structures are the evidences of drought-resistance of Prunus armeniaca var.ansu.2. The analysis of soil physical and chemical properties show that: prunus armeniaca var.ansu shrubbery can obviously improve soil water stable aggregate contents physical properties and soil nutritions.3. The soil moisture curves of prunus armeniaca var.ansu and barren sloping field show...
