The study of appropriate dietary metablizable energy and crude protein for Yin Xiang chicken had been done on following experiments. In experiment 1, a feeding trial using single factor randomized block design was conducted to study the effects of dictary metabllizable energy on performance of Yin Xiang chicken. 360 one-day old Yin Xiang chickens were assigned to 3 treatments with 2 replicas of each treatment. ME of diets levels were designed as follows:ME:11.90MJ/kg, 12. 54MJ/kg, 13.20MJ/kg The feeding trial lasted 56 days. The trail results showed as follows:(1) Body Gain:The average body gain of the female was improved with the increase of ME, ME factor had signifcicant influence on the female(P<0.05); (2)Feed Intake and ME Intake:as for the female,ME factor had significant effect on feed intake and ME intake(P<0.05);(3)Feed/Gain:ME factor had significant influence on the female (P<0.05),Feed/Gain decreased with the increase of ME levels. During 0 to 8 weeks, diet with 13.20 MJ/kg was recommended to use.In experiment 2, a feeding trial using two factors randomized block design and an metablfic trial were conducted to study the effects of dictary metabolizable energy and crude protein on performance of Yin Xiang chicken . 360 56-day old Yin Xiang chickens were assigned to 9 treatments with 2 replicas of each treatment. ME and CP levels of diets were designed as follows: ME:11.90MJ/kg, 12. 54MJ/kg, 13. 20MJ/kg, CP: 20%, 18%, 15% . The feeding trial lasted 49 days. The trail results showed as follows: (1) Body Gain: ME factor had significant influence on body gain(P<0.05); CP factor had significant little influence on body gain(P>0.05). The interaction between ME and CP had significant influence on bodygain(P<0.05)> the trials with middle ME and middle CP level(ME 12.54MJ/kg, CP 18%) was the best;(2)Feed Intake: ME factor and CP factor had little significant influence on feed intake(P>0.05); (3)Feed/Gain:ME factor had significant influence on feed/gain(P<0.05),Feed/Gain decreased with the increase of...
