Comparative Study Of Growth Model And 4-D Expression About A Tree

In order to implement virtual reality and 4-D expression about a tree using computer technique .there are several problems ,such as comparative study of growth model about a tree, theoretical foundation on 4-D expression , software platform and algorithmic on 4-D expression of a tree, computer reality on 4-D expression of a tree, etc. they are all studied in this paper. This paper's study object is the Pinus which grow in the Dang chuan forest station of the experimental forestry office of XiaoLongShan, Gansu provinceAdopting comparative method to study growth model about the pinus in this district, the Richard equation is thought to fit the growth condition of these pinus at the same time, using computer virtual reality technique, imitation of 3-D figure and implementation of 4-D expression about Pinus. have been successfulI pay more attention to the internal relation in growth process and outside visual structure of a tree in the research process. Growth process of a tree ,regarded as one controling parameter ,is introduced into 3-D figure expression model so that the 4-D expression model can dynamically reflect the growth discipline of a tree in certain forest area.The purpose of this study is to set up scientific relationship of tree's growth condition with its shape and structure, Making the model can forecast one parameter while knowing the other parameter, giving some guidance for forest work.
