In order to prevent the growth retardation and diarrhea of early-weaned piglets and find the eligible soybean products for them in the early period especially in the first week after weaning, three trails were conducted to investigate the effects of different soybean products on the performance, digestibility of nutrients and physiological and biochemical indexes of serum of piglets in the first week after weaning. Additionally, an investigation was conducted to find that whether it was necessary to process the feed for early-weaned piglets.Trial one was conducted to study the effects of different soybean products on the performance of early-weaned piglets in the first week after weaning. 16 litters of DLY piglets weaned at the age of 3 weeks were divided into 4 groups, and each group was fed a diet containing extruded full-fat soybean (EFS), extruded soybean meal (ESM), extruded dehulled soybean meal (EDSM) or soybean protein concentrate (SPC) respectively at the same nutritional level. The results showed that the types of soybean products had great effects on the performance. The diet containing ESM increased the average daily gain (ADG) of piglets by 27.29%, 17.38% and 6.50% respectively, and reduced the ratio of feed to gain (F/G) of piglets by 45.48%, 12.39% and 18.33% respectively, as compared with the ADG and F/G of the EDSM, EFS and SPC groups. The results indicated that ESM has evident superiority in increasing the ADG and feed conversion of early-weaned piglets in the early period, especially in the first week after weaning. In Trial two, to study the nutritional effects of different soybean products on early-weaned piglets in different periods, 20 DLY piglets weaned at the age of 3 weeks were chosen and divided into 4 groups. The treatments of diet in the first week were same as trial one. Pigs of all groups were fed the same diet in the second period for 10 days. The levels of serum urea nitrogen (SUN), total protein (TP), albumen (AL) and globulin (GL) were detected on the first and eighth day. The result showed that the performance of piglets fed the diets containing EFS and EDSM were better than that of others in the first period, but ESM had significant superiority in improving the average daily feed intake (ADFI), ADG and F/G of piglets in the second period, which led to better performance than other soybean products in the whole feeding period. In the last four days, the protein digestibility and availability of diet containing ESM were the highest, and the protein availability of the diet containing ESM was significantly higher than those of the diets...
