| Shellfish aquaculture is the pillar industry of the marine economy in our country. But the extensive death of the shellfish takes place occasionally in recent years, the disease has already become the choke point of development of shellfish aquaculture .The immune system of shellfish plays an extremely important role in defending the disease .So the research in immunology of shellfish is particularly important for understanding the disease in shellfish cultivating and the mechanism of the shellfish immune defense system deeply. In hope of knowing about the defending system of shellfish and try to improve the defense capability of shellfish from the immunology angle, the research had studied the Haliotis diversicolor supertexta immune function, including the classification of the shellfish haemocytes, cellular immune function research on abalone, properties of hemagglutinin, immune modulation to the cytological and humoral immunological activities of the Haliotis diversicolor supertexta by some oligosaccharides and vitamine.Classification of the haemocytes of H. diversicolor sueprtexta was carried out in this study by light, transmission electron and scanning electron microscopical .It was revealed that four groups of haemocytes were present inH.diversicolor supertexta: type I large hyalinocytes, size of 11.8×9.25μm, presentag of; type II mall hyalinocytes,size of 6.25×6.50μm; type III large granulocutes, size of 7.48×6.25μm,; type IV mall granulocutes, size of 5.60×4.80μm, according to cell size , tranular features ,and some structural and functional characteristics. There might be four types of surface structures in the haemocytes under scanning electron minctoscopy: round shape cell, elliptoid cell pear or spindle shaped cells , pinecone-like cell, and large shaped cells . Two gtanules were distinguished: type I with high electron-dense; type II with low electron-dense.Agglutinating could be found in the serum of H. diversicolor supertexta. It showed agglutinating activity on erythrocyte of Human A, Human B, Human O, chicken, rabbit, duck, mouse, cow, partridge, the agglutinin titers were 29, 27,24; 26,212, 25,26,24,27. The serum could also agglutinate microorganisms,such as Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Vibrioauguillarum, Aeromonas hydrophila .The experiment showed that the hemagglutinin was stable at a wide range of temperature and pH degree. The activity of the hemagglutinin could be inhibited by D-Fructose, D-mannose, D-xylose, maltose. After being simulated by V. anguillarum, the hemagglutinatng titers of serum could be increased.In this paper ,the activities of acid phosphatase ,alkaline phosphatase and CAT in the serum and liver tissue extraction of H. diversicolor supertexta were tested at l,3,6d after injection with vitamine Vc, and polysaccharide,A. hydrophila .The activities of ACP,ALP, CAT in liver of H. diversicolor supertexta had a significant elevation after injection with polysaccharide,A. hydrophila.
