In present, all the transgenic plants are almost use the selectable marker genes such as antibiotic and herbicide resistance to select transplants. Recent years, more and more people worry about the safety of transgenic product. Although there is no report shows that selectable marker genes can affect the human health and the environment security. Marker-free is a rapidly developed method which can eliminate the safety concern of transgenic food. Soybean Kunitz trypsin inhibitor (SKTI) mainly exsited in Soybean seed what is one kind of proteinase inhibitor (PI) .It was generally proposed that the trypsin inhibitors are storage proteins,regulators of endogenous proteinases, or protectors of plants against insects and pathogens. SKTI is the natural substance of insect resistance.It plays a important role for Brassica oleracea van capitata L.in our supply of vegetables anniversary . The insect such as cabbage worm, cabbage moth is one of the main obstacle for cabbage production, often resulting in a substantial reduction or cabbage quality decline. So far, however, it have not yet made significant progress to obtain new vegetable breed with insect resistance through conventional methods of breeding, in the light of genetic engineering in crop varieties achieved tremendous success through genetically to cabbage and other vegetables to get insect resistent gene into sharp focus. More importantly, it has been confirmed that proteinase inhibitors in food crops to the animals without side effects. Thus, it will be conducive to consumer acceptance that took the proteinase inhibitors as a insect resistent target combination of marker-free transgenic technology to obtain insect resistent cabbage.This study involved the soybean Kunitz trypsin inhibitor (SKTI) gene as targets which widespread used in the plant genetic engineering in the current.
