Thirty-five canine were studied as the material to be made the models of strangulated intestinal obstruction and divided into seven groups randomly: controling group, experimental group1(ischemia reperfusion group, removing the bundle directly)and group 2(cutting and inosculating group, cutting and inosculating strangulated intestine). The experimental groups were also divided into 2h, 4h and 6h ones according to the time of removing the obstruction. It was studied that the changes of endotoxin in the portal vein blood, the species of translocational bacteria which isolated from the mesenteric lymph nodes, heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, the degrees of bacterial translocation, pathogenicity and sensitivity to antibiotics of such bacteria, meanwhile, to find the damage action of endotoxin to body for offerring the evidence to the diagnosis and treatment of intestinal obstruction. The results indicated that with the prolongation of time after the intestina parva was obstructed, the content of endotoxin in blood significantly stepped up an hour later and significantly stepped up at the first point of time after removing the obstruction and then stepped up gradually. After removing the obstruction, the density of the endotoxin in experimental group 1 was sharply higher (p<0.01) than that of controling group and that of the obstruction removed before. The density of the endotoxin in experimental group 2 was sharply higher (p<0.01) than that of the controling group and was higher significantly (p<0.05) than that of the obstruction removed before; the density of the endotoxin in experimental group 2 had significant changes comparing with the group 1 (p<0.05) . The translocational bacteria were mainly Gram-Negative bacillus, such as Escherichiacoli, klebsiella pneumoniae etc. Majerity strains have strong pathogenicity in experimenal groups, but in controling group the translocated bacteria had no pathogenicity. In study groups, with the prolongation of time after the intestina parva was obstructed, the amounts, species and pathogenicity rate of bacteria become more higher. In group2 the amounts, species,...
