"TME"program developed by Sibbald(1979) is used generally to estimate the digestibility of amino acids in feedstuffs for poultry, howerer, there are still debates on whether to remove caecum or not and methods to determinate endogenous amino acids losses. The published paper indicated that use of caecectomised or intact birds depend on the type of feeds, breed and other factors .Two different endogenous amino acids estimating methods ,three type of feedstuffs , 17 weeks age caecectomised and intact male Yangzhou goose were used in this experiment in order to study: changes of the amount of excreta during 24 hours ,48 hour and 48 hours after force feeding; effects of the two different methods on the endogenous amino acids losses and on the true digestilities in fish meal, soybeal and cottonseed meal; effect of caececetomy on the apparent and true amino acids digestibilities in feed. The results showed that:1 Three different period were set for excreta collection. The amount of excreta during 48 hours was higher than that during 24 hours or 36 hours. After feeding soybean meal or cottonseed meal, excreta collected increased from 24 hours to 36 hours (P<0.05) to 48 hours (P<0.01).2 Caecectomised goose see a higher endogenous amino acids excretion that intact goose except Tyr,Pro,Val,Leu(P>0.10) in fasted period, and Ile,amoung which endogenous Arg loss grow very significantly(P<0.01). However, when nitrogen free diet was used to measure endogenous amino acid excretion, caecectomised goose excret less...
