Chickens Escherichia colibacillosis (E.coli) was one of the common pathogen bacterium of chicks. It can bring such as embryo death,omphalitis, blood poisoning, salpingitis, synovitis, granuloma, vitelline peritonitis,ophthalmia and so on. With the increasingly amplication of chickens cultivacation scale in our country, the sorts of chickens E.coli were also increasingly increasing. They can succeed or commingle other diseases, and they can obviously raise the incidence of disease and death of many contagion , and they can result in a great deal of expedition of drug , bacteria and labor cost. Chickens E.coli make a great loss in economic and pose the first threaten to chicken disease of bacteria.In order to investigate and analyze epidemiology of chicken pathogenic E.coli , we collect 41 specimen and separate 32 peccant E.coli from 6 different henhouses:Qiaozhuang, Beishili, Tuqiangbei, Dongxu, Xiaoliyuan and Qian- jiutai henhouse. The studies put emphases on the biology char- acteristic, drug sensitivity and plasmid DNA analysis.
