The Ecological function Regionalization is based on the comprehensive evaluation to the ecological essential and getting all kinds of distribution of spatial heterogeneity and information of regionalization, which offers a service of geographical spatial frame for regional environmental management and planning forecast. The paper's analysis to "Heat Islan", ecological capital ecosystem function service, ecological sensitivity in this region is based on the new GIS technology, new measures and new angles. Considering all the factor above and spatial distribution of water resources and modern ecological theory, the paper devides the Zhengzhou forest ecological city into 5 ecological function regions and 55 ecological function sub-regions.and points out the main ecological sensitive problems.which offers a direct academic foundation of ecological regionalization. The main primary aspect is as follows:It does the analysis of the "Heat Islan"effect in the area with the GIS technology. The five "Heat Islans" is the center city area, the northwest loess ravine area, the southwest hilly country, the east sand dune area, the Yellow Rivre' sand beach area. Considering the five "Heat Islans"effect, the population index, the land using model index, the economical index, the traffic index, the city entironmental index, it compartmentalizes the area of Zhengzhou forest ecological city.It does the investigation of the ecological resoures in the area with the GIS technology. There are cinnamon soil, fluvo-aquic soil, sandy soil and other kinds of soils in research area. The soil reaction is neutral and alkalescent partly. The pH scale commonly in use ranges from 6.7 to 8.6. The area has 1180.5km2 which belongs to water and soil loss type in the area. The water resources...
