Used as regional test upland rice-upland rice 277, Pond-cultivation experiment, was to manage as the field, was conducted to explore effects on soil rationalize character, microbe activity, growth, water metabolism, absorption and utilization of N, P and K, photosynthesis characteristics, hormone content, dry matter production, tillering and spike and the relationship of each character and tillering and spike in different water treatments after three leaves on experiment farm of Henan Agricultural University from 2004 to 2005. The main results were as follows:1. The soil moisture remarkably influenced microbe activity and soil respiration. There was high quadratic equation significant correlation between the soil temperature and soil respiration within 26~32℃ of soil temperature of treatment W1,W2,W3 and W4 without water floor, but was not significants counts of treatment W5 with water floor. The source of soil microbe was bacteria. Soil microbe and bacteria increased firstly and then decreased, actinomyces decreased gradually, but fungi indistinctively changed with the adding of soil water content. Fungi activity increased in tillering stage, but decreased in shooting stage, so fungi activity was regarded as the target of root growing and soil fertility.2. NH4+ increased in soil, P decreased firstly and then increased, but K was contrary, crop absorbed in N,P,K remarkable increasing when soil water content increased. The correlative analysis indicated that: upland absorbed N increasing with the increased fertilizer application N in relative water content 75%~85% and P,K increasing with the increased fertilizer application P,K in relative water content 65%~75%. Despite the absorbed N,P,K increasing with the soil moisture increasing upland tillering spike efficiency was the best when soil relative water content was 85%. W3 tillering spike efficiency was the best, W4 the number of tillering spike was the best, and the second leaf and the third leaf provide nutrient for crop tillering in different water treatments, while crop reduced the speed of growing with the soil moisture increasing. Protein-nitrogen(prN) and NH4+ were the main shape for upland tillering absorbing, but nonprotein-nitrogen(NprN) and NO3- were the osmoregulation matter in crop for matter supply and supplement.3. The different soil moisture affected the leaf water potential, and leaf water...
