The agricultural producers pay more attention on the yield of crop, and fertilize overabundance fertilizer. Its result in the cost of crop production increasing , the pollution of the environment and deteriorate the quantity of soil. Its go against the principle of durative development. The nitrogen use efficiency of China is very low, it's only 30%-40%, and the remnants N were losing. The losing N induces the greenhouse effect, pollute the environment, and induce biodiversity loss and climate change. The cost of nitrogen fertilizers production is more expensive because of the water shortage and the electric power limitation, its increase the expenses of agricultural production. Because of those reasons, improving the nitrogen use efficiency and decreasing the usage of nitrogen fertilizers is important now. This paper analysis the gene effects and the QTL effects of wheat nitrogen efficiency, hope to provide some references for the high nitrogen efficiency breeding. In this investigation four six generations population and a DH population with 133 lines plant in The Science-teaching Farm of Henan Agricultural University in two surroundings during two years from 2003-2005. Analyzing the gene effects with the six generations population, and the similar analysis of a DH. Analyzing the QTL effects of DH with a genetic map from SSR.1. The studies of each generation of four populations show that the nitrogen use efficiency and the inheritance is different between the different genotype of wheat.2. The gene effects of the nitrogen content of wheat leaf (NCL) and the nitrogen content of stem (NCS) are accord with the additive-dominant-epistatic model. The dh, hh effects of NCL are subdued in the same environment. The enhancive effects of NCL are h and dd, the subdued effect is hh. Under the different environment, the enhanced gene effects of NCL and NCS are dh and hh, the d, h and dd are all subdued effects. The results of DH show that there are 7.5 pairs gene correlate with NCL and NCS in the common water and fertilizer treatment, and 12.6 pairs gene correlate with NCL and NCS under water and fertilizer stress environment. The heritability is 78% and 57.2% at each environment.3. The gene effects of the nitrogen content of kernel (NCK) are accord with the additive-dominant-epistatic model. The enhancive effects of NCK are h and dd, under the same environment, the subdued effect are dh, hh. Under the different environments, the main inheritance effects are h, hh. The h effect is the enhanced effect and the hh is...
