On the basis of large sum of articles about urban storm water recharge groundwater technique, connecting with country's natural scientific fund item and water resources and environmental important experiment item of Shann'xi province, according to the characteristics of Xi'an city storm water utilization. This paper is focus on the rainwater recharge well. And a outdoor recharge experiment was taken to analysis the recharge environment effect and economic problem. The storm water recharge well and other observation wells were built and inspect the water table and the variable groundwater quality when the storm water were recharged into well. Several representative contaminations were chosen, the effect of the contaminations on groundwater movement was observed. The research results are significant to storm water recharge well in big cities, relief of city water shortage and conservation of ecological environment. Major work & findings are listed as follows:1. Design and building of a pump test system and rainwater recharge test system.2. Pumping test was carried out to determine the groundwater geologic parameters. According to the relative coefficient of permeability K & influence of radius R, the capacity of recharge well was calculated, and get the right drainage basin area while the rainfall data is a fixed value.3. The groundwater table and water quality were analyzed in the experiment. The result shows: the recharge of storm water well can reduce the contamination concentration. The content of contamination would be change with the time, recharge flux, distance, et al. The recharge well capacity is based on the aquifer character and well structure, groundwater velocity, et al. The economic effect of the storm water recharge well is marked.4. The urban storm water quality is good by simple treatment, and recharging groundwater would not destroy the groundwater system. The underground storage storm water will be a good resource for the industry and domestic uses.5. The rainfall influent seepage quantity was calculated by rainfall data and groundwater table changing. There is a simple environment effective report was evaluated.
