Study On Preventing And Controlling Mastitis Of The Dry Cow By Antibiotics And Sealant

Objective:Mastitis is one of the most serious diseases that cause loss of dairy industry, which leads the world's dairy industry development to great economic losses.Selecting the dry period, by antibiotics and sealant, prevention and controlling of mastitis come true. The research is to improve the cure rate of the method of postpartum mastitis, which provides reference of the establishment of udder health care system for future.At the same time, the impact of dry period mastitis control effect of factors were explored, including parity, season, which provides experimental basis for clinical medication. Methods: In this study, carry out contrast trial of using antibiotics, nipple outer sealant,combination of two ways in the dry period, explore therapy results.At the same time, through different parity, season, cure rates were compared to explore the impact of dry period mastitis control effect factor. Results:A'Stop Breast Health'combined with sealant to prevent dry period mastitis, the lower incidence of postpartum mastitis than simply using the'Stop Breast Health'or preventive effect of outer sealant only.'Stop Breast Health'combination outer sealant postpartum mastitis cure rate was higher than simply using the 'Stop Breast Health'or preventive effect of sealant outside the nipple. In dry period,using a'Stop Breast Health'combination outer sealant prevention and treatment methods, between each parity, postpartum mastitis prevention and treatment were not significantly different (P> 0.05). In dry period,using a'Stop Breast Health'combination of methods to prevent the nipple outer sealant, there was the highest incidence of postpartum mastitis for dairy cows in summer, compared with spring and autumn,there was significant differences (0.010.5); the dry method of'stop Breast health'was not siginificant (P>0.05); the dry method of'stop Breast health' with outer sealant was not significantly (P>0.05). Conclusion:The 'Stop Breast Health'combination nipple outer sealant can effectively pevent and control mastitis in the dry period. Curing rate of mastitis in dry period is not irrelevant to the lactation number(parity). preventive effect of mastitis during the dry period is relevant to the seasons.
