Global climate change is a hot topic all over the world. Climate change affects people's daily life, and particularly affects agricultural production, so it is important to have a research on the effect of climate change on agricultural production. Climate change has different characters and variation trend based on the geographical conditions, and in this paper, Huining county in Gansu is used to have a research, in order to know that how climate change affects the agricultural production of Huining.First, the author introduces the overview of global climate change, the impact of climate change on agricultural production; Second, introduces the general situation on location, natural and socio-economic situations, climate change, agricultural production, cereal crop unit yield, and so on. Third, introduces the data resources and methods used in this paper and uses the software of SPSS to analyse the relevance and regression between wheat, potato and each effect factors, and to find out how these factors impact wheat and potato; The final part is conclusion and discussion.The results show that:(1) In north-central arid zone, rainfall and humidity factors are significant which affect wheat unit yield, but the impact of precipitation factors are less important than humidity on wheat yield, while the impact of land can be ignored; On the regression analysis of potato yield and each impact factors, the summer humidity and summer rainfall produces very significant impacts on potato. In the irrigation area, land type in irrigated land-based townships on yields of wheat is more significant; rather than other cases, potato yield here is more susceptible to the type of land. In Eryin mountains, humidity makes the greatest impact on wheat yield, and precipitation makes the second important, while temperature the third; potato yield is most affected by seasonal factors, while the role of temperature in this region is enhanced.(2)In north-central arid zone and Eryin mountains, the impacts of humidity and precipitation on wheat is greater than on potato. This is because wheat is summer crop, and potato is autumn crop, while in June, July, and August, the precipitation is high in Huining, which is consistent with potato growth period. (3) On the analysis of climate change on wheat unit yield, the author finds that land type will become significant while the water condition is good. And on the analysis of wheat yield in irrigated area, with the trend of using fertilizer is slow, fertilizer's influence is waning on wheat, and the influences of land type which changed by human are enhanced.
