This article research the soil of sustainable management against the natural characteristics and agricultural production conditions of the loess plateau region, for the healthy development of the soil quality with the basis of the present management of agriculture. We took experimental studies for four years in experimental establishment of the loess plateau of the Lanzhou University in zhonglianchuan region in yuzhong city Gansu province. Through the study the soil water, crop yields and efficient use of water and soil quality how to change with the amount of application of the different fertilizer nitrogen. And so on we are for a more suitable fertilizer nitrogen gradient basis it, we hope it can achieve a higher crop production, water use efficiency and economic benefits, at the same time; it can take the healthy development of the soil quality. This experiment has set up a six fertilizer nitrogen usage, processing:0 (ck), 150,300,600,900 and 1200 kg/ha。The study uses different plots, repeating the experiment many times, the fields are random block experiments, and after four years of research, the results showed that the technique of whole-year plastic film mulch solved the problem of soil dryness in the deep soil profile. After 4 years, the soil water content was significantly higher in the 0-60 cm soil layer in all treatments compared to their initial values, and there was no significant change in 60-200 cm soil layer. The treatment of applying 600 kg urea ha-1 was a more sustainable model for getting high corn productivity and water use efficiency (WUE), and producing greater economic benefit. The mineral N had no obvious change in the treatment of applying 600 kg urea ha-1 with time. The potential maximal grain yield for corn is 6958 kg/ha-1 in the applying 825 kg urea ha-1.
