Chlorophorus sp. belongs to the genus Chlorophorus (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) and it's an important wood-boring insects of Caragana korshinskii. Larvae of it can worm into and corrupt the branches of Caragana korshinskii, resulting in a much slower growth rate and even death of the whole plant. In recent years, it has been spreading rapidly in Caragana korshinskii shrubberies in western china, especially in Lingwu city, Zhongwei city and Yanchi county of Ningxia, causing mass mortality of these shrubberies species and consequently leading to great damage to the local construction business as well as high economic, ecological and societal losses. To control their hazards effectively, here preparation by screening of phyto-attractant and Monitoring and tentakill technology were studied, and the results are as follows:1st, The volatile organic compounds in stem of Caragana korshinskii were analysed by thermal desorption cold trap injection-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (TCT-GC/MS) technology. The results showed that there are 59 kinds of main volatile compounds, which comprised Alkane and its derivatives Fattyaldehyde, Fatty acids and ester, Fatty alcohol and Terpenoid. The results show that relative ratios of most volatile compounds are low, and only few are relatively high. Compounds and their relative content in morning (6:30-8:30), midday (12:30-14:30) and evening (18:30-20:30) are to some extent different from each other. The kinds and relative content of matters in stem of Caragana korshinskii in morning and midday are relatively more than that in the evening, and they are to some extent lower after wormed by the larva of Chlorophorus sp.. It's worth noting that the content of fatty alcohols and terpenes in the stem of Caragana korshinskii are generally very low, and they didn't obviously risen after suffering injury.2nd, The results of SEM showed that there are three types of sensilla on the antennae of Chlorophorus sp., including sensilla trichodea (t) (typesâ… ,â…¡andâ…¢), chaetica sensilla (ch) (typesâ… ,â…¡andâ…¢), and sensilla basiconica (b) (typesâ… andâ…¡). There were few differences between males and females in the distribution and density of the different sensilla types, only the distribution range of b1 are larger on antennal sensilla of females than that of males. The conclusion can be drawn that Chlorophorus sp.'s feeling of surroundings including tactile sense, sense of smell and identify ordinary plants odor molecules.3rd, Based on the above experimental results,5 kinds of volatile compounds: 3,5,5-Trimethyl-2-cyclohexen-l-one (A), Dibutyl phthalate (B), Diisobutyl phthalate (C), cis-3-Hexen-l-ol (D) and 3-Pentanone (E) were mixed in the permutation and combination way and formed 30 formula and then performed tempts set activity test. The results demonstrated that compounds B, C, D, E mixed in 1:1:1:1, compounds A, B, C mixed in 1:1:1, compound A, compounds A, B mixed in 1:1:1, have obvious effect on alluring Chlorophorus sp.(<0.5) in the tempts set activity test in Zhongwei city, Ningxia, of which compounds B, C, D, E mixed in 1:1:1:1 was most effective; that compunds A, B mixed in 1:0.5, compound A, compounds A, B mixed in 1:1, and compounds A, C mixed in 1:0.5 have obvious effect on alluring Chlorophorus sp.(<0.5) in the verification test in Lingwu city, Ningxia, of which compunds A, B mixed in 1:0.5 was most effective. Comprehensive analysis of 2-year data showed that compound A has great trapping effect and the effect was stable. At same time, the same formula was observed to be showing different effect, especially compounds B, C, D, E mixed in 1:1:1:1.4th, After obtaining phyto-attractant of Chlorophorus sp., monitoring and tentakill technology test was taken by using compound A. The results showed that the best trap for capturing Chlorophorus sp. is funnel shaped trap, the best suspension height of trap is 0.5m, and ideal data of the farthest trapping distance was not acquired. And practice proved that the phyto-attractant of Chlorophorus sp. can be used to monitor eclosion of Chlorophorus sp.
