The eastern coastal beach of China increased to a certain speed is up to 2.0×106 hm2.The high-quality forage gap is very large. If we can use the coastal beach to cultivated forage not only promote the development of local animal husbandry, but also avoid conflict with the food fight.Spartina alterniflora (S.alterniflora),Spartina patens(S.patens),Salicornia bigelovii(S. bigelovii)are invasive species. S.alterniflora threats to the local ecological environment, which has biomass resources. Using it as forage, can effectively control the invasion, but also increase the economic benefits of turning waste into wealth. Although there is not invasion report of S.patens and S. bigelovii, the rational management and exploitation is necessary to effectively reduce or even avoid the harm to the native ecosystem. As time progresses height, biomass, dry matter content of S. alterniflora increase but the nutritional value decreses. In July and August, biomass, dry matter content, crude protein content are relative higher, while the neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber content is relatively lower, in vitro digestibility of dry matter in a relatively high level of,ratio of calcium and phosphorus are more appropriate. From this perspective,we can use it as forage in July and August. S. alterniflora has relatively high sodium content, so which can add some salt for the animals. While S. alterniflora relative lack of copper and zinc, we can use it together with other feed. The biomass, dry matter content, crude protein content and in vitro dry matter digestibilityof S.patens are relatively high, while neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber is relatively low in July and August. Therefore we recommend 7-8 months for using S.patens which has a reasonable ratio of of calcium and phosphorus and low sodium content. S. patens lack of potassium, magnesium, zinc relative. It is recommended we can use it together with other feed. From June to October, the height, biomass, dry matter content of S. bigelovii gradually increases, neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber content gradually increases; crude protein and in vitro dry matter digestibility decreases.S. bigelovii harves seeds in October, and the branches and leaves can be used as forage. sodium content of and ratio of calcium and phosphorus are more reasonable in October.S. bigelovii lack of zinc and magnesium we can use it together with other feed.
