Abstract/Summary:
By feeding Tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus×O.aureus) respectively with diets which were added 3 different levels of Chinese herbal compound Astragalus membranaceus and other six herbal to basic diet, the effects of the Chinese herbal compound on the growth performance of Tilapia,the index of immune organs and non-specific immunity function in the blood of Tilapia were discussed in this study. According to the above results,applied Ctenopharyngodon idellus with one of appropriate level to small-scale popularization and application test.Then continue to discuss the effects on Ctenopharyngodon idellus'growth performance, non-specific immunity function in the blood and RPS after infected of Aeromonas hydrophila.In conclusion,the objective is to put forward another possible way to slove such problems happened to fresh-water aquaculture as residues of fishery drugs and bottleneck of vaccine.And aims to enrich the fundamental researches of Chinese herbal compound used as promoting its green and healthy development,while make Chinese herbal compound formula become scientific and tittle-used to come true.Three hundred and sixty healthy tilapia with weight of (6.00±1.00) g and length of (4.00±0.05)cm were randomly divided into 4 groups with 2 replicates and 30 tilapia in each replicate in the first trail. Feeding each group respectively with diet containing 0‰(control group), 0.5‰, 1.0‰, 1.5‰of Chinese herbal compound for 60 days. Tilapia weight were tested every 15 days,while length were tested in company with weight at the last day.The results showed that, compared with the control group, 1.0‰, 1.5‰groups could increase the absolute body weight gain distinct on the 45th day and the 60th day.While all experimental groups and control group are indistinct different on length gain.Seven hundred and twenty healthy tilapia with weight of (15.00±1.00) g and length of (7.00±0.05)cm were randomly divided into 4 groups with 2 replicates and 30 tilapia in each replicate in the second and the third trails. Feeding each group respectively with diet containing 0‰(control group), 0.5‰, 1.0‰, 1.5‰of Chinese herbal compound for 60 days.Tilapia blood samples were collected every 15 days(the oth,15th,30th,45th,60th), for detecting phagocytosis activity and the amount of NBT-positive cells in the blood; also the activities of total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD), catalase (CAT), lysozyme (LSZ),nitric oxide synthase(NOS),phosphatase (ACP), and alkaline phosphatase (AKP) in the serum.Took out its spleen,then detected the index respectively.The results showed that, compared with the control group,0.5‰,1.0‰,1.5‰groups could increase the spleen index of Tilapia to a certain extent.Thereinto, 1.0‰, 1.5‰groups are more intense but still indistinct than other groups. 1.0‰, 1.5‰groups can increase the Percentage of phagocytes (PP) in the blood of Tilapia distinct even extremely difference on the 30th day; while increase the Phagocytic index (PI) distinct on the 45th day. Compared with the control group,1.0‰, 1.5‰groups can also increase the amount of NBT-positive cells to a certain extent.Thererinto, 1.0‰group achieves to distinct on the 45th day,while extremely different on the 60th day;and 1.5‰group has achieve to extremely different on the 30th day;the different between 1.0‰and 1.5‰is indistinct. Still,1.0‰, 1.5‰groups can increase T-SOD, CAT, LSZ, NOS in the serum obviously and stably.Among them,the effect on LSZ is the best intense with extremely distinct from the 15th day to the end.But the experimental groups are indistinct different on the effects of ACP and AKP in the serum.The forth trail is researched on Ctenopharyngodon idellus which are bred in small-scale pond experimental group by feeding with essential diet containing 1.0‰of Chinese herbal compound.Then study their growth performance,activities of T-SOD,CAT,LSZ,NOS,ACP,AKP in the liver and effect on RPS after infected of Aeromonas hydrophila.The result of growth performance indicates that,compared with the control groups,the groups which were added with 1.0‰of Chinese herbal compound have increase the absolute body weight gain but indistinct,while increase the absolute body length gain extremely different.The result of the effects on related enzyme indicate that, compared with control groups,the 1.0‰groups can increase the activities of six enzyme to some extent.Thereinto, the activities of CAT,LSZ,NOS have achieve to distinct level.The result of effect on RPS shows that,the groups which were added with 1.0‰of Chinese herbal compound have lower mortality than the control groups, elevate the RPS with 18.70%.The results of full test showed that adding 1.0‰and 1.5‰of Chinese herbal compound to essential feed can not only promote the growth performance of Tilapia and Ctenopharyngodon idellus,but also can increase the non-specific immunity function and the premunition resisting power to disease. While taking the costs of raw materials into consideration,it suggested that the 1.0‰is the better level when apply to production and practice.
