Abstract/Summary:
In order to judge the efficiency on the artificial forage to slope soil and water conservation, this experiment choose to plant Bromus inermis Leyss at 15°and 25°slope on the condition of natural rainfall. Compare to the bare land, observing the biological characteristics of Bromus inermis Leyss, slope rainfall infiltration, runoff yield and dynamic change law of soil moisture, through the mowing treatment at the heading stage to research the influence on the soil erosion of sloping lands after mowing. The results are as follows:1.Artificial planting can effectively prevent the soil erosion of sloping lands, the soil fixing ability of 25°and 15°Bromus inermis Leyss grasslands are respectively 98.88% and 98.9%, the water retentivity of them are 89.24% and 88.21%.So Bromus inermis Leyss can control water and soil loss better, mowing has no significant effect on the erosion modulus and annual runoff of 25°and 15°Bromus inermis Leyss grasslands.2.Vegetation height and coverage have important impact on soil and water conservation. The forage height and coverage have no obvious difference between 15°and 25°slope soil, gradient does not affect forage growth status evidently. Planting Bromus inermis Leyss at Beijing area sloping lands, after mowing, it needs 40-50 days for grassland vegetation to recover the vegetation coverage level before mowing. 3.Cultivating Bromus inermis Leyss on slope can improve infiltration rate,on the condition of cutting, infiltration rate relationship in different treatment are:grasslands without mowing> grasslands with cutting> bare lands,15°> 25°.Cutting Bromus inermis Leyss would reduce grassland infiltration rate, but it has no obvious effect on total annual runoff and soil erosion modulus.4.Growing Bromus inermis Leyss can enhance soil compaction, especially, there are more root distribute in 0-10cm soil layer, root system can increase the ability of soil water conservation and decrease soil erosion, cutting Bromus inermis Leyss would reduce soil compaction.5.Bromus inermis Leyss in cutting and no cutting treatment at heading stage, the biomass difference of overground and underground is unobvious, the total length of root, root surface area and root volume have little discrepancy, it also has no significant effect on controlling soil and water loss on surface.6. On the condition of little precipitation and soil drought,Bromus inermis Leyss consume soil water of slope slowly and remain water effectively;with the high precipitation,it can accelerate absorbing soil moisture and speed up excluding soil water, this is benefit to plant growing. In dry season, mowing Bromus inermis Leyss can holding soil water more availably, during rainy season, Bromus inermis Leyss without mowing can increase the consumption of water, cutting grasslands can keep water effectively and adjust soil moisture.
