Ion beam bioengineering technology has been considered as a new method for mutation breeding. With low-energy ions implanted organisms, the biological effects and the function mechanisms of the technology were investigated by some researchers, and the technology has been used into genetics breeding and gene engineering. The researchers have observed some biological effects and revealed some basic mechanisms for the past twenty years, and the great development and application have been obtained. In this paper, the mutation biological effects of walnut and Umbrella throne implanted by N ions and Ti ions were studied and discussed.Using four different methods to pretreatment Pecan seeds, and selecting feasible method ion implantation. The results showed that:Pecan seed, because of larger particles, the more water content, and other reasons, the germination rate was very low after ion implantation.Selected N ions and Ti ions two kinds ion pouring into Umbrella throne seeds, energy was 30kev, Beam flux was 10mA, Vacuum degree was 10-3Pa, An injection every 21 s,3 s each injection, The dose respectively as 0,200×1014ion/cm2,400×1014ion/cm2, 600×1014ion/cm2,800×1014ion/cm2, 1000×1014 ion/cm2,1200×1014ion/cm2, then carried out a germination test, And, the admeasurements on physiology biochemistry was carried out. The results showed:1. After two kinds of ion purring into the queen, the germination percentage of seed was reduced, present "saddle type" and survive in the curve, Germination rate, germination potential and dose showed significantly related, it is favorable to sprout to the low dosage (200×1014ion/cm2).2. After two kinds of ion purring into the queen, the DH content were not very different in the seed, it showed basically from lower to rise, and then, lower, Correlation was not notable.3. N ion800~1000×1014ion/cm2 and Ti ion 600~800×1014ion/cm2 pouring, make CAT obvious rise of activity.4.Two kinds of ions poured into impact on content of free organic acids in the seed differ significantly at the low dosage, (200~400×1014 ion/cm2) as the increase difference of the dosage is reduced gradually, Correlation was not notable.5. After two kinds of ion purring, the chlorophyll content of the seedling demonstrates the same variation tendency, but the turning point changed is different to some extent, reducing again of the chlorophyll content, proving the photosynthesis drops gradually, showing the ion beam may cause the damage of the chloroplast, thus cause and only shut the intensity to reduce, only shut ability to drop.The result running into two kinds of ions showed:N ion is suitable for the luring and turning into the breeding of the Umbrella throne than Ti ion, suitable energy and dosage of N ion pouring into for creating new variety of Umbrella throne has better application prospects.Taking all factors considered, Umbrella throne breeding ion implantation technology indicators should be:ion source, N ions; energy,30kev; Beam flux,10mA; Vacuum degree,10-3Pa; Injection method, an injection every 21 s,3 s each injection; Dose,800×1014ion/cm2.
