| During the process of practicing conservation tillage in Daxing District of Beijing, numerous kinds of wheat no-tillage planters were being used, which caused farmers'in dilemma choosing the most suitable one for farming. In general, there are three models of wheat planter used in Beijing, which include John Deer 1590 Model,2BMDF-12 and 2BMFS-X6/12. This research compared several significant indexes of the three planters with results are as follows:(1) The anti-blocking abilities of the three planters were in the same level. All of their working effect met the operational requirements.(2) Depths of seeder and fertilizer created by 2BMFS-X6/12 and 2BMDF-12 were better than John Deer 1590 Model. The distances between seeder and fertilizer were satisfactory according to the demands of Beijing District. John Deer 1590 Model has the mixed seeder and fertilizer system which shows the uniformity depth in the field. But the depth made by this model was shallow that lot of seeds can't be covered immediately. Therefore this model was not applicable for the tillage condition of Beijing District.(3) In condition of no-tillage,2BMFS-X6/12 and 2BMDF-12 helped in loosening seedbeds, which were good for seed germination and crop growth. When the straw was heave, John Deer 1590 Model obstructed the crop growth. Therefore, the yield of the two former models of planter was higher than the latter one.(4) The three models were different in the aspects of energy consumption and operational efficiency. The descending order of energy consumption was 2BMFS-X6/12,2BMDF-12 and John Deer 1590 Model. The John Deer 1590 Model had the highest operational efficiency, while 2BMFS-X6/12 did the lowest. So,2BMFS-X6/12 Model has required most energy utilization and least operational efficiency in compare with others.(5) Considering all the indexes listed above,2BMDF-12 can be popularizing easily in Beijing District.
