Abstract/Summary:
Corylopsis glandulifera var. hypoglauca belongs to Hamamelidaceae family, Corylopsis genera. It is a new excellent and undeveloped bush which has high value for garden use because of its beautiful flowers, leaf colors and fruits. This paper focuses on the study of Corylopsis glandulifera var. hypoglauca's agamogenesis, drought resistance and landscape application. Come to a conclusion as follows:The result showed that the best cutting substrate was the sand, and the best cutting was the branches with top buds. It also confirmed that summer was the best season for cutting. After treating through hormones, it can be found that ABT6 400 ug/L was the best for cutting, because it has 53.3 % rootting rate, 5.16 cm average root length, the longest root length was 5.41cm, and the average quantity of root was 5.37.Furthermore, Corylopsis glandulifera var. hypoglauca had both skin and callus rootingtypes. The best medium for leaf buds induction is MS+6-BA3.0 mg/L+NAA0.5 mg/L, and the best medium for leaf buds breeding is MS+6-BA 1.0 mg/L+IBA 0.5 mg/L. Also, the best medium for the callus induction of tender leaf is MS+6-BA 2.0 mg/L+IBA 0.5 mg/L+ NAA 0.5 mg/L+2,4-D 0.5 mg/L, and the best medium for Callus subculture is MS+6-BA 1.0 mg/L+2,4-D 0.1 mg/L.Study on drought stress of Corylopsis glandulifera var hypoglauca indicaed that it can endure the arid environment which the RWC in soil is 6 %, then the leaf margins turned dry, curled, and the leaves turned gray-green. However, there was no mortality. As the increase of the drought stress, the conductivity, the content of MDA, qP decreased gradually and qN increased gradually, while the chloropHyll content, Fv/ Fm, Fv/ Fo and ETR decreased gradually, and the Fo rose slightly, while the Fm, Fv reduced slightly. Moreover, the content of solubility proteide, SOD and POD activity increased firstly, then decreased.Landscape application: Integrating the ecological characteristics and ornamental characteristics of the Corylopsis glandulifera var. hypoglauca, it can be used to flower border, forest edge, sparse woodland, water bank environment, etc. to enrich the level and color of the landscape.
