The Response Of Pigment Pepper's Growth Physiology To The Irrigation Volume Of Mulched Drip Irrigation And Strip Irrigation

Taking pigment pepper "American Red" as the research subject, the thesis studies on the influence of scale irrigation on the growth, production and physiological index of pigment pepper under the arid conditions in Inland areas of Gansu Province (Liangzhou District, Wuwei City as the typical area). The result shows that:1. Under mulched drip irrigation,20~45m3/667m2 scale irrigation has no notable effect on the height and stem diameter of pigment pepper while under strip irrigation, the same amount of scale irrigation has significant effect on the height and stem diameter of pigment pepper. After the fruit-forming period,25m3/667m2 maximum treatment height of pigment pepper is significantly higher than those of 40m3/667m2 and 45m3/667m2. In the stage of fruit enlargement (8.28),40m3/667m2 treatment height and 45m3/667m2 treatment height have decreased by 16.4% and 16.3% respectively, compared with 25m3/667m2 treatment height. The stem diameter of pigment pepper in 40 and 45m3/667m2 is always smaller than other treatments. In the later period of forming fruit (after 7.29), the stem diameter of pigment pepper in 25m3/667m2 is significantly higher than other irrigation treatments and the stem diameter of pigment pepper in 20m3/667m2,30m3/667m2,35m3/667m2,40m3/667m2 and 45m3/667m2 treatment have decreased by 7.1%,10.5%,10.3%,16.4% and 16.8% respectively, compared with that of 25m3/667m2.2. Under mulched drip irrigation, the shoot dry weight, yield per mu and yield per plant of 30m3/667m2 scale irrigation are superior to other treatments. Compared with 30m3/667m2 treatment, the shoot dry weight of 20m3/667m2,25m3/667m2,35m3/667m2,40m3/667m2, and 45m3/667m2 treatment have decreased by 16.7%.16.6%.9.9%.19.0% and 38.4% respectively; the yield per mu of 20m3/667m2,25m3/667m2,35m3/667m2,40m3/667m2, and 45m3/667m2 treatment have decreased by 24.2%.1.7%.9.1%.10.9% and 13.3% respectively; the yield per plant of 20m3/667m2,25m3/667m2,35m3/667m2,40m3/667m2, and 45m3/667m2 treatment have decreased by 16%.6.2%.8.6%.9.9% and 11.1% respectively. Under strip irrigation, the shoot dry weight, yield per mu and yield per plant of 25m3/667m2 scale irrigation are superior to other treatments. In the stage of fruit enlargement (8.28), the shoot dry weight of 20m3/667m2,25m3/667m2,35m3/667m2,40m3/667m2, and 45m3/667m2 treatment have decreased by 37.1%,32.9%,37.1%,42.4% and 51.5% respectively, compared with that of 25m3/667m2 treatment. Still under strip irrigation, the yield per mu and the yield per plant of 20m3/667m2,25m3/667m2, and 30m3/667m2 treatments have no significant difference, but they are all superior to other treatments.3. Under mulched drip irrigation, the MDA content, the Pro content, the content of soluble sugar and soluble protein in pepper leaves of 20m3/667m2 treatment and 25m3/667m2 treatment are generally higher than those of 30m3/667m2 treatment. And the activity of SOD in the fruit forming period and the activity of POD in the aging period before harvests are both lower than those of 30m3/667m2 treatment. The scale irrigation treatments of 20m3/667m2 and 25m3/667m2 have displayed their physical reactions under drought stress. In the stage of fruit enlargement (8.25~9.9), the content of soluble protein in pepper leaves of 40m3/667m2 and 45m3/667m2 treatment are obviously lower than that of 30m3/667m2 treatment. Under strip irrigation, the MDA content in pepper leaves of 40m3/667m2 and 45m3/667m2 treatment maximum irrigation volumes and of 20m3/667m2 treatment minimum irrigation volume are both higher than that of 25m3/667m2 treatment; the Pro content in pepper leaves of 30m3/667m2 scale irrigation treatment is obviously higher than other treatments in the late growing period; in the fruit-forming period. The activity of POD in pepper leaves of 35m3/667m2,40m3/667m2, and 45m3/667m2 treatments are higher than other treatments through the whole growth period and they become obviously rising up near harvest. But the activity of POD in pepper leaves of 20m3/667m2 treatment and 30m3/667m2 treatments haven't risen up near harvest.4. In Liangzhou District, Wuwei City, open field pepper pigment under mulched drip irrigation, the most appropriate irrigation volume is 30m3/667m2 and the scale irrigation volume is 220m3/667m2. Under strip irrigation, the most appropriate irrigation volume is 25m3/667m2 and the scale irrigation volume is 195m3/667m2. Under mulched drip irrigation the yield per mu is 989.6kg, which increased 14.6%, compared with that under strip Irrigation (863.7kg).So select the mulched drip irrigation and the most appropriate irrigation volume is 30m3/667m2.
