A single factorial arrangement of treatments and self-control design was adopted in the experiment. Twenty adult Tibetan Mastiff dogs of 2 years old were allotted at random (four per-treatment) to five rations. The feeding trial was lasted 20 days, including preliminary trial period (6 days) and test period(14 days). This study was carried out to investigate the protein requirement and the digestible protein requirement of adult Tibetan Mastiff dogs fed diets containing five different level of protein, in addition to study the effect of serum BUM and serum TP. The results showed that The regression equation between nitrogen consumed and nitrogen retained is y1=1.305x1+2.549. The regression equation between nitrogen digested and nitrogen retained is y2=0.977x2+2.306.The results indicated that a adult Tibetan Mastiff dogs require 15.931g protein (2.549g nitrogen) or require 14.413g. (2.306g nitrogen); In addition to the serum BUM of the groupâ…¡which of the protein level was 20.87% was higher than the serum BUM of the groupâ…¢which of the protein level was 20.87%. The serum BUM was rised with the protein level of increase. The difference in serum TP was not significant(p>0.05),and the level of protein is not influenced the serum TP.Experiment 2:The study of common feedstuffs on the availability of digestive and metabolism of adult Tibetan Mastiff dogs. The difference method and self-control design were adopted in the experiment. Twelve adult Tibetan Mastiff dogs of two years old were randomly allotted into three groups with four replicates and one dog in each replicate. Four digestion-metabolism trials were used in each two group, and every digestion-metabolism trial was lasted 10 days, including preliminary trial period (6days) and test period (4days).Transitional period among every digestion-metabolism trial was three days. This study was carried out to investigate the corn, wheat, soybean meal (SBM), rice bran (RB), powdery, corn gluten meal, fish meal (FM), bran, meat and bone meal on the utilization of energy and nitrogen of adult Tibetan Mastiff dogs. The result showed that:(1)The apparent intake of dry matter of meat and bone meal was higher(p<0.05) than SBM, and it was significantly higher(p<0.01)than FM, corn. The apparent intake of dry matter of bran was higher (p<0.05)than corn, FM. The apparent intake of dry matter of others were not significant(p>0.05).(2) The difference among corn, wheat and RB in apparent digestibility of dry matter were not significant(p>0.05) but they were all higher (p< 0.05) than bran.(3)The difference among corn, wheat and powdery in apparent digestibility of nitrogen were not significant(p>0.05) but they were all higher (p< 0.05) than RB.The apparent digestibility of nitrogen of bran was higher (p<0.05) than FM and it was significantly higher(p<0.01)than RB.The apparent digestibility of nitrogen of others were not significant(p>0.05).(4)The apparent metabolism of nitrogen of corn was significantly higher(p<0.01)than corn gluten meal and it was higher (p<0.05) than wheat, SBM, powdery, meat and bone meal, bran, FM. The apparent metabolism of nitrogen of others were not significant(p>0.05). (5) The difference among wheat, powdery, bran and FM in ADE were not significant(p>0.05) but they were all significantly higher (p<0.01)than corn gluten meal, meat and bone meal and corn. The ADE of RB was higher (p<0.05) than corn gluten meal. The ADE of FM was higher (p<0.05) than SBM and RB.(6) The difference between powdery and bran in AME were not significant(p>0.05) but they were all higher (p <0.05) than corn and RB,they were all significantly higher(p<0.01)than SBM,corn gluten meal and meat and bone meal. The AME of wheat was higher (p<0.05) than SBM and it was significantly higher(p<0.01)than corn gluten meal, meat and bone meal. The AME of FM was significantly higher(p<0.01)than corn, SBM, corn gluten meal, RB,meat and bone meal. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Tibetan Mastiff dogs, Protein requirement, Biochemical indices in serum, Common feedstuff, Digestibility, Metabolism, Digestive energy, Metabolism energy | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
