In order to explore the growth of different elm clones and characteristics of transpiration water consumption, excellent elm clones for this area would be chosen provide to the oretical basis and technical to support the fast growth, intensive cultivation and care management of elm plantation. Principles of plant physiology ecology and measurement technology of growth are used for measuring growth indicators of the 10-year-old different elm clones, separately measured spring, summer and autumn 20 elm clones of the growth index, and their transpiration rate ,stomatal conductance ,water consumption of physiological parameters etc, and photosynthetic radiation, atmospheric CO2 concentration, the ecological factors, soil moisture content, etc. discusses different season 20 elm clones of the physiology characteristic and the changes of the ecological factors change, analyses the physical factors and ecological factors of the relationship, the water consumption of transpiration of each elm wood for the trees growth characteristics, study on water evaporation elm clones and growth characteristics of the size of the influence, chooses the excellent elm clones for this area at last. The following are main results:1,20 elm clones seasonal variation of leaf area per are basically the same, the maximum yield of leaf area in Summer, Autumn the second, Spring the smallest. In different seasons 20 elm clone's leaf area exist between yield significantly difference, F-value respectively F=839.09>F0.01=2.96;F=4188.76>F0.01=2.14;F=6037>F0.01=2.14。In different seasons, various elm clones of single leaf area with leaf length and leaf width linear correlation, linear regression equations are significant, single leaf area with leaf length and leaf width have closely linked, and leaf width influence of single leaf area more than leaf length.2,In different seasons 20 elm clone's Gs and Tr have basically identical dynamic variation curve, explain the changes of Tr positively correlated with Gs changes. Spring (spring) and Autumn (fall) Gs, Tr trends are basically identical, all the single-peak type change。Summer (summer) and the change trend of the Gs Tr is double-peak type change. The external environment factors are caused by different elm clones Gs and Tr, dynamic changes of the main factor of seasonal differences. Analysis of different season each elm clones Gs and Tr with their affecting factors of the relationship, In Spring and Autumn , Tc and TL the impact of the Gs; Summer ,Tc is the biggest factor influence Gs. In Spring and Autumn, Tc is the biggest factor influence Tr; Ca is the biggest factor influence Tr in Summer.3,20 elm clone's water consumption per day transpiration, seasonal differences and difference between species are very obvious. 20 elm clones, the largest water consumption per transpiration in Summer, the second In Autumn, the minimum in Spring. In different seasons, 20 elm clone's water consumption per transpiration are extremely significant difference. 20 elm clone's transpiration rate and yield of leaf area the influence of different for water consumption per day transpiration, except for 13×8②,11×2(36),8034,Jingyu1 and 73001,the rest 15 elm clone's plant leaves area influence on water consumption per day transpiration more than the transpiration rate. The changes of environmental factors are caused by the elm clone's water consumption per day transpiration of seasonal differences. In spring, the influencing degree of meteorological factors to water-consumption transpiration are: RH>Tc>TL>PAR>Ca. In Summer, the influencing degree of meteorological factors to water-consumption transpiration are: RH>Ca>TL>PAR>Tc. In Autumn, the influencing degree of meteorological factors to water-consumption transpiration are: Tc>TL>PAR>Ca>RH. The water consumption per day transpiration with meteorological factors have a close relationship. In different seasons, soil moisture is affect the elm clones water consumption per day transpiration the main soil factors, especially in spring and autumn.4,20 elm clone's H,D and V is extreme significance difference, Analysis of the different elm clones growth indices, various elm clone's D and crown diameter, D and H, H and crown diameter have a good linear relation, regression equations are significant. The close relationship between D and crown diameter, D and H, H and crown diameter of Various elm clones.5,20 elm clone's water consumption per day on average transpiration with single-tree volume growth in good linear relationship, regression equations are significant. The close relationship between water consumption per day on average transpiration and single-tree volume growth. According to the various elm clone's water consumption per day on average transpiration and single-tree volume growth the cluster analysis show that 20 elm clones are divided into 5 categories. A class 2×9②belongs to Maximum volume, intermediate water consumption elm clones; B class 2×13②and Mengxian belongs to higher volume, Maximum water consumption elm clones; C class Jingyu2,14×8②,8016,75027,820045,820056,73001,11×2(36)and 24×13③belongs to intermediate volume, lower water consumption elm clones;D class13×11,8054,8034,13×2,13×8②,Weimiao and Gucheng belongs to lower volume, higher water consumption elm clones; E class Jingyu1 belongs to low volume, low water consumption elm clones. Therefore, the rapid growth 2×9②, which plant in the sufficient water sandy soil, are selected. The faster growth of Jingyu2,14×8②,8016,75027,820045,820056,73001,11×2(36) and 24×13③, which plant in natural rainfall conditions's sandy soil, are picked. The fast growth of 2×13②and Mengxiang, which plant in the critical period of water demand for irrigation's sandy soil, are chosed.
