The experiment in order to provide scientific methods for future researth was conducted to study the effect of the utilize of synthesis methionine and the influence of molt-induction period on molting and post-moltperformance of laying hens, and analysised effect of adding DL-methionine and DL-2-hydroxy-4-methylthio butanoic acid in feed, under the condition of low temperature 5℃and normal temperature 15℃.Experiment one:The influence of DLM and LMA on performance and protein of hen in food. In an experiment with 2X5 factorial designs, four hunded and eighty 34-week-old Hyline brown hens were randomly allocatted into two chicken house. the 240 34-week-old health Hylane brown hens were randomly assigned to five groups with four replicates of twelve laying hens per replicate fed different diets(the control group was fed a corn-soybean,the diets of treameat groups were respectively fed a adding-0.12% DLM,0.15% DLM,0.18% LMA,0.225% LMA in food.).The results showed that:In chicken house in 15 centigrade, adding methionine in feed can contribute to the growth of the chicken body weight slowly, significant increasing of laying rate, average egg weight and daily average egg weight, and obvious reduce of feed/egg ratio. It had no apparent effect on fallopian tube length parameter and weight parameter of laying hens. Adding 0.15% DL-methionine and 0.225% DL-2-hydroxy-4-methylthio butanoic acid in feed made the best effect on the laying performance and egg shell thickness of laying hens.in 5 centigrade, adding methionine in feed can alleviate the low temperature the adverse laying hens effect and also contribute to the growth of the chicken body weight slowly, significant increasing of laying rate, average egg weight and daily average egg weight, and obvious reduce of feed/egg ratio. It had no apparent effect on fallopian tube length parameter and weight parameter of laying hens.Adding 0.15% DL-methionine and 0.225% DL-2-hydroxy-4-methylthio but anoic acid in feed made the best effect on the laying performance and egg shell thickness of laying hens.Experiment two:The influence of DLM and LMA on laying recover and protein. The 61 week -old hens were selected and divided into 6 groups, the A group(control group)was fed on corn-soybean,the B,C,D,E,F (treameat group) were fed on induced molting. the hens were fed free salt dietsin the 4-day preliminary period of 65 week, and 24 hours day light, during 65~67 week the hens were fed 50g diets of low- energy and low-protein (ME=10.93MJ/kg, CP,8.52%).the number 2 induced-diets (ME=11.61MJ/kg, CP,15.54%) was fed a week in the 68-week, the number 3 induced-diets (ME=11.92MJ/kg, CP,16.61%) was fed a week in the 69-week.From the 68-week,the hens can intake food free. The number 2 and 3 induced-diets were respectively adding methionine(B, no methionine,C,0.10%DLM,D,0.20%DLM,E,1.14%LMA,F,2.28%LMA).The results showed that: During the restore of induced molting period, laying, egg weight,feed-egg ratio can be significant increased adding methionine in feed., reduce recover days, broken and soft eggs ratio can be decreased. It had no apparent effect on egg shape index, shell thickness, eggshell strength, haugh unit..Adding 0.10% DL-methionine or 0.114% DL-2-hydroxy-4-methylthio butanoic acid in feed made the best effect in food.
