In order to clarify the effects of regulating the speed of blower by changing frequency on the curing schedule and leaf quality in bulk curing processs, the bulk curing experiments were conducted. The experiments includeing 3 treatments:two changed frequency treatment (T1 and T2) was regulating the speed of blower by changing the frequency of electrical machinery; an unchanged frequency control treatment (CK) was changing the speed of blower by regulating number of the electrode of electrical machinery. The final treatments were:for changed frequency treatment 1 (T1) the frequency of blower was at 50-30-40 Hz in the yellowing stage, at 50-35 Hz in the color stabilizationg stage, at 25 Hz in the stem drying stage; for changed frequency treatment 2 (T2) the frequency of blower was at 45-30-45-35 Hz in the yellowing stage, at 50-30-50-30 Hz in the color stabilizationg stage, at 30-25 Hz in the stem drying stage; for unchanged frequency treatment (CK) the speed of blower at low speed (6 electrode) after at high speed (4 electrode) for 30 min. in the yellowing stage, at at high speed (4 electrode) in the color stabilizationg stage, at low speed (6 electrode) in the stem drying stage. The key results showed that:1.During the process of bulk curing, the temperature and humidity in the bulk curing barn can be close to the idear of curing schedule by changing frequency of electrical machinery to regula the speed of blower.2.The appearance quality of cured leaf of changed frequency treatment (T) was better than that of unchanged frequency control treatment (CK). The percentage of orange leaves was T1(81.3%)>T2(78.4%)>CK(68.3%).3.The evaluateon sheet showed that the smoking quality of cured leaf of changed frequency treatment (T) was also better than that of cured leaf of unchanged frequency control treatment (CK). The porints gained in evaluateon sheet of C3F showed that:T2(58.5)>T1 (57.5)>CK(51.0).4.The results also showed that the consumption of energy of bulk curing of changed frequency treatment (T) was lower than that of unchanged frequency control treatment (CK).5.The economic results showed that the benefit was T2>T1>CK for lower leaves and T1>T2>CK for middle and upper leaves.
