The Research On Indoor Plants Application In Hotel Based On Health Conception

Hotel is often chosen as the lodging or the active place when people go out for travel or participating chamber of commerce. As the particularity of management in hotel trades, human's health is threatened by the indoor-air pollution in the hotel.The paper objects to explore the application of indoor plants in hotel, give full play of indoor plants'health function, improve the hotel indoor environment, and protect human body health. The results are as follows:(1) Through the field-investigation about the application of indoor plants in four hotels in Nanchang city, summarized the current hotel indoor plants application characteristics are as follows:the main function of indoor plants is beautifying environment; the indoor plants service's object mainly satisfies the visitor primarily; the main space applied indoor plants is the open space; plant's choice mainly by green view leaf plant primarily; indoor plant's cultivation form mainly by basin primarily.Through the field-investigation, the paper summarized the following questions: emphasing on shape and color, ignoring the smell; attention to the form and neglect against; attention to form and ignore the quality; emphasing public ignoring privacy; emphasing standard ignoring management.(2) The paper proposed the principles of applying indoor health plants in hotel based on studying health functions of indoor plants:chose proper indoor health plants according to indoor spatial area; chose appropriate indoor health plants according to indoor pollution degree and hotel space environment; chose suitable indoor health plants according to the function and different population.(3) The paper proposed species of indoor health plants according to different space and different population, based on analyzing factors threat to human health in public space, private space and production space.(4) The paper proposed how to chose the different indoor health plants according to the different require of the elderly, children, and women.(5)The paper proposed keeping and management methods of indoor health plants in hotel according to the particularity of hotel indoor environment and management.With the development of modern tourism industry, more and more people into the hotel. Worsening air pollution, people's growing health awareness today, the competitiveness of the hotel operator is not fully reflected in the competitive quality of service, the comfort and health of the intense competition is the key to victory. Research on application of indoor health plants takes a certain role on retaliating "green hotel" and "eco-hotel".
