Litter decomposition is a key step to the nutrient cycle in wetlands,it is also an important process in maintaining wetland functions.Using the litter bag technique,study the process of three locally dominant species litters decomposition in Dalian lake.The results show that:(1),Tree-grass is the structure of Dalian lake. Taxodium ascendens Brongn is the locally dominant species of the tree layer; Composite and gramineous are the most common species,two families accounted for the total number of species to 41.54%;It is larger of COD,TN,TP anear the Taxodium ascendens Brongn forest(2),Decomposition rates of three litters is much quicker in the first month than in the next five months;It takes 3.2 years to decompose the litter of Taxodium ascendens Brongn,1.55 years to decompose the litter of Echinochloa cruspavonis,but only 0.75 year to decompose the litter of Alopecurus japonicus,the rate of tree
