The optimum technology of herbicidal active ingredient extraction from the leaves of S.argenteastriatus, following by the scanning of EW and other additives, using the extracts of S.argenteastriatus as the main component to develop a Botanical herbicide. The effect of the agents was preliminary assessed by pot experiment. The main results were following:1.study on extraction technology of herbicidal active ingredient from S.argenteastriatusLactuca sativa L. and Agrostis stolonifera Var.Penncross as tested plants, through orthogonal design, using extraction percentage and the inhibition of extracts to the root and stalk of the tested plants as evaluating indicator, comparing the extraction solvent,liquid ratio,extraction temperature,extraction times and other factors to the effect of the extraction results, the optimum factors combination was scanned, namely A3B2C4D3 (extraction solvent was 75% ethanol, liquid ratio was 1:6 stirring 6h under 80℃soaking 24h under room temperature, extraction was repeated three times). The extraction percentage was 9.94% under the above conditions, when the concentration is 0.4g/L, the inhibition of the bamboo leaves extracts to the root of Lactuca sativa L. and Agrostis stolonifera Var.Penncross were 67.83% and 36.82%, respectively.2.Study on the EW of S.argenteastriatus extractsUsing the S.argenteastriatus extracts as the main component, through the scanning of solvent,emulsifier,and other additives, the formula of the EW was determined: S.argenteastriatus extracts10%, emulsifier13%, ethanol16%, EG5%, antifoaming agent 0.2% and others was complemented 100% by water. The preparation was diluted to 200 times and the inhibition of the root of Lactuca sativa L.was 78.93%. After the hot and cold storage,freeze-thaw and diluted stability experiment, the results indicated that the samples did not show the phenomenon of delamination,deposition,condensate oil,ooze water, and met the quality standard of EW. The effect of inhibition to the the root of Lactuca sativa L. was decreased after the hot and cold storage,freeze-thaw experiment, when diluted to 200 times, the inhibition ratios were 77.57%,78.6%,78.52%. The analysis of variance showed that the difference was not obviously at the 5% level, when comparing to the samples before the store. 3.Study on pot experiment of the preparationC.dactyloncy L., Eclipta prostrata L, Setaria viridis(L.)Beauv, Echinochloa crusgalli L. were selected as the tested plants. The inhibition of the EW of S.argenteastriatus extracts to the weeds was examined under pot experiment. The results indicated that the preparation showed certain inhibition to the four weeds under the concentration of 1:12.5,1:25,1:100. The inhibition to C.dactyloncy L.and Setaria viridis(L.)Beauv was better than Eclipta prostrata L and Echinochloa crusgalli L at the same concentration. The inhibition to the same plant,s height was obviously at the level of 5% at different concentrations. With the increasing of the concentration of the preparation, the inhibition was obviously strengthed.
