Objective To compare the effect of chitosan antibacterial material JFS and Mepilex dressing o tnreating of stageâ…¡pressure ulcer and the cost-effectiveness analysis material of.Methods Selected a total of 60 patients hospitalized into ICU with stageâ…¡pressure ulcer from October 2013 to October 2014. Follow the principle of random, balanced, using the random number table method, the patients were randomly divided into observation group(Mepilex dressing group) and treatment group(chitosan antibacterial material group). Two groups of patients’ ageã€genderã€nutritionã€albuminã€basic diseases, through the statistical analysis, there was no statistically significant difference between basic data of two groups patients, are comparable. Treatment group using chitosan antibacterial material treatment, and control group using the Mepilex dressing treatment. Every 2 to 3 days change medicine, and to evaluate wound healing of healing rate, effective, efficient and inefficient,treatment time, pressure ulcer care material cost, comparing two groups of curative effect, healing time, and economic cost-effectiveness analysis.Using SPSS17.0 software package for statistical analysis, measurement data with the average standard deviation, group design data using group t-test,counting data by chi-square test.Results There were no significant differences in the total efficiency of the two groups(P>0.05). The treatment group cure time was shorter than the control group with the low cost of treatment.Conclusions The economic effect of chitosan antibacterial material to treat stageâ…¡pressure ulcer was better than Mepilex dressing. The chitosan antibacterial material is the ideal drug which is worth popularizing widely.
