Effect Of External Counterpulsation Combined With Chinese And Western Medicine On SOD And MDA In Unstable Angina Pectoris And Its Clinical Efficacy

Purpose:Observation of the traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine with enhanced external counterpulsation(EECP),in the treatment of phlegm turbidity combined with blood stasis type of clinical curative effect of unstable angina.In the proposed formulas and the basis of conventional western medicine therapy,with enhanced external counterpulsation treatment,observed before and after treatment in patients with angina,and the change of TCM syndrome and serum malondialdehyde(MDA) as well as superoxide dismutase(SOD),content the changes before and after therapy,and analysis the mechanism of its action.Material and method:In Liaoning university hospital of traditional Chinese medicine the sixth chronic disease section office,44 cases of hospitalized patients conform to the phlegm and blood stasis syndrome of the unstable angina, were randomly divided into treatment group(EECP group) and control group,22 cases in each group.The treatment group is based on conventional western medicine treatment and Tong mai jiang zhuo fang,and veins EECP therapy,once a day,60 minutes at a time, for a period of treatment for 30 days,the control group of conventional western medicine combined with Tong mai jiang zhuo fang, both groups collect blood samples and determination of the content of MDA and SOD within the first 10 minutes before the counterpulsation,and 10 minutes after the last counterpulsation.At the same time two groups were recorded before and after the treatment of angina pectoris attack situation,and the change of electrocardiogram and TCM symptoms.Results: 1 In the efficacy of TCM syndrome integral on two groups of patients did not differ between the total effective rate comparison(P>0.05);but show efficiencyin treatment group was 50%,control group efficiency is 18.2%,the treatment group was higher than control group(P<0.05). 2 In angina pectoris curative effect on two groups of patients did not differ between the total effective rate(P>0.05); but show efficiency in treatment group was 54.5%,control group efficiency is 22.7%,the treatment group was higher than control group(P<0.05). 3 Both of the two groups of patients after treatment were higher than before treatment(P<0.01) on the TCM symptom integral;the treatment group after treatment is higher than the control group after treatment(P<0.05). 4 Treatment group after treatment in patients with MDA content significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.01);the control group after treatment in patients with MDA content is lower than before treatment(P<0.01);but the treatment group after treatment the MDA content significantly lower than the control group after treatment(P<0.01). 5 Treatment group after treatment in patients with SOD levels were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.01);the control group after treatment in patients with SOD content is also higher than before treatment(P<0.01);but the treatment group after treatment SOD content is significantly higher than the control group after treatment(P<0.01).Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine treatment reinjoyed EECP,phlegm turbidity type combined with blood stasis unstable angina has exact curative effect,it can increase serum SOD level,and reduce the serum MDA level, improve the symptoms of angina and TCM symptoms,and it also has the very high safety and patient compliance,so the EECP clinically can be a new hope of the treatment of unstable angina.
