With the development of the society, the habits of the eating become more worse and the environment becomes more worse. Many kinds of diseases are around the people and it may bring a lot of hidden trouble. Thus, people pay more and more attention to the health. We can see that the detection technology of the human body’s health and disease has become more popular.Since the ancient times, Chinese medicine always found the pathological through touching the pulse. In fact, the pulse is an important physiological information and it contains a lot of human physiological and pathological information. Therefore, we can find a lot of pathological human body information by studying the pulse.In this paper, we extract the features by the analysis of a large number of pulse waves and try to find the relationship between the pulse characteristics and the pathological information. In the process of collecting the pulse wave, these are different kinds of noises and the noises can affect the pulse. Therefore, we should denoise the pulse wave before extracting the pulse wave characteristics. And, this paper also proposes a new method to extract the pulse wave characteristics.At present, the mobile terminal has a very big market and becomes a necessity. Therefore, this paper design an Android system to analysis the pulse. Thus, this system can take the study to people’s daily life.This paper, the research mainly includes the following aspects of content:(1) The relationship between the pulse wave theory and the human pathology. Pulse is the result of human blood circulation system, and the waveforms are affected by the factors of the human blood circulation system. Therefore, the pulse wave is closely related to the body’s physiological information and Chinese medicine also proved that. Thus, the study of the pulse characteristics has a very important significance on the clinical diagnosis and treatment.(2) The pulse wave is a physiological signal of human body and it is also a pressure signal. In this paper, we select HK-2000C pulse sensor as to collect the pulse. All of the pulse data are collected from the outpatients.(3) The denoise of pulse wave. In the process of pulse collection, because of the effects of the patient’s breathe and the electromagnetic interference, these are a lot of noises. Therefore, this paper denoise the pulse waves before the analysis of the pulse waves(4) The extraction of the pulse characteristics. This paper selects feature points as the characteristics. Based on other methods of extracting feature points, this paper proposes a new method using n Gaussian functions to analysis pulse wave and this new method will get more accurate feature points.(5) The relationship of the pulse wave feature points and the pathological information. Based on the pulse wave feature points, this paper try to find a corresponding relationship between the feature points and the pathological information. And the relationship has a very important significance on the following study and the clinical application.(6) The design of the Android system for analysis the pulse. At present, the handheld devices are used commonly. Therefore, this paper designs an Android system to analysis pulse and the Android system will be more convenient and more widely applied.
