Objective: By establishing the rat animal model whose main pathological manifestation is NAFLD, the experiment observes the efficacy and mechanism of “Qinggan Jiangzhi formula” to the rat NAFLD that has been induced by high fat diet, which provides new thinking and method for improving NAFLD treatment.Material and Method: 50 healthy male Wistar rats are divided into 10 rats of blank control group, 10 rats of three times dose group of Qinggan Jiangzhi formula(high dose), 10 rats conventional dose group of Qinggan Jiangzhi formula, 10 rats of western medicine control group and 10 rats of model group. The standard fodder is given to the blank control group for the previous six weeks while the high fat diet is given to feed to the high dose of Qinggan Jiangzhi formula group, the conventional dose group, the western medicine control group and the model group, in order to copy the fatty liver model of the rats and they are weighted with the electronic weighter each week. After the molding for six weeks, 0.9% sodium chloride solution is given to both of the control group and the model group to have the lavage, different dose traditional Chinese medicine is given to Qinggan Jiangzhi formula group to lavage and the polyene phosphatidylcholine capsule suspension is given to the western medicine group. In the sixth week of the experiment, at the last feeding, take one rat from each group randomly and observe the liver under the lightmicroscope to prove the molding is successful. By the end of the 10 th week when the experiment is over, take blood sample from abdominal aorta to test ALT, AST, TG and HDL-C. Rat livers are taken out to be weighed, partly are used to prepare for pathological section and partly for doing homogenate to test ADP and TNF-α of rats.Result: The weight, liver-wet weight, blood fat, enzyme of liver function and TNF-α of the model group rats are all higher than the blank control rats with significant decrease in adiponectin and HDL. For the treatment each group, rat’s weight, liver-wet weight, blood fat, enzyme of liver function and TNF-α areall improved in different degrees, the decrease in adiponectin and HDL are not obvious, of which the efficacy of high dose group is best, the conventional dose group is second, and the efficacy of western medicine control group is not as good as the previous two groups.Conclusion:1.Qinggan Jiangzhi formula can improve liver fat degeneration.2.Qinggan Jiangzhi formula can alleviate inflammatory activity3.Qinggan Jiangzhi formula can lower the blood fat effectively and improve liver function.
