Objective:By observing the changes in plasma neuropeptide Y in patients with c oncentration of essential hypertensive patients with different blood pressure levels a nd essential hypertension with target organ damage, to investigate the plasma neur opeptide Y in essential hypertension and the effect of physiological and pathologic al process in primary hypertensive target organ damage of significance.Methods:Select200cases were diagnosed with primary hypertension, high blood Ⅰ level group had85cases, Ⅱ Grade82cases hypertension group, hypertension gr oup with33cases of grade Ⅲ. Synthesis of target organ damage in patients with a total of111cases, the patients with a single target organ damage (78cases of patients with left ventricular hypertrophy in36cases,19cases with renal damage,23cases of acute stroke), two or more than two combined with target organ da mage in33cases.50cases of healthy people as control group. Fasting venous b1ood concentration to NPY was determined by radioimmunoassay method.Results:1.Patients with essential hypertension and plasma NPY concentration was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05或P<0.01), plasma NPY concentration between different blood pressure levels also had significant differences, and increases with the rise of blood pressure level (F=75.837, P<0.05)2. According to the risk of cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure can be divided into low, moderate, high risk and high risk four categories, compared with significant difference between groups,(P<0.01), indicating that the higher the risk of cardiovascular disease, the higher the content of the NPY.3.The single target organ damage in plasma NPY concentration was significantly higher than the group without target organ damage in hypertension group (P<0.01或P<0.001). Combined with target organ damage in plasma NPY concentration was significantly higher than the group without target organ damage in hypertension group (P<0.001), and organs and single target damage group showed no significant difference compared (P>0.05)Conclusion:(1) animal experiment. Endogenous aldosterone secretion by binding with the receptor negative regulation of neuropeptide Y.(2) the clinical experiment.1patients with primary hypertension exist elevated plasma NPY concentration, the concentration of plasma NPY and increased with increases in blood pressure levels, so NPY may be involved in the occurrence and development of hypertension; hypertension target organ damage in2different groups exist abnormal increase in plasma NPY concentration, NPY may promote the primary target organ damage in hypertension, plasma NPY levels can be used as primary hypertension target organ damage index to a certain extent.
